For your added security and convenience, we have installed a safe in the house. Children are welcome. Pets are also welcome however they need to be approved and registered. Barbeque, griddle, deep-frying and smoking on covered terrace only. Only registered guests have the use of the villa.

Located above the owner summer residence, it has independent exterior access trough geranium and jasmine flowers, up a wrought-iron spiral staircase and is available year round.
Outside
The fully furnished large decks (60 square meters) are covered with the local traditional vaulted roofs made up with logs and clay tiles, perfect for indulgent candlelight dinners while you relax at the breeze of the sea and enjoy the view of the mountains and the nearby town, after a day of sightseeing. The decks are furnished with table, chairs, sofa, armchairs. Coal barbeque unit and exterior burners allow you to barbeque, griddle or deep fry on the covered deck
Across the terrace is the view of the subtropical garden and the orchard. Lemon, fig, pomegranate, olive, loquat trees mingle with prickly pears, palms and oleander trees, jasmine, bougainvilleas, wild asparagus, scented herbs and 6 feet high geranium bushes. Birds zoom through the branches of this enchanted garden. The beaches of Casteldaccia, Cefalu`, Mondello are located on the north coast of Sicily. Along this coast, facing the enclosed Mediterranean sea, the sea water is much warmer, calmer and pleasant than the southern coast of Sicily, exposed to the open sea. Beaches can be public with free access or private. These will charge a small amount for the use of umbrellas, chairs, changing rm, showers and bathroom facilities. Closest beaches: 2km

In my garden
About the owner
The garden has been in my family since the year 1725, date of foundation of Casteldaccia. I grew up and played every summer with my brother and my cousins in this garden, at that time much larger. Many years later, also my children played in it every summer. Many of my fondest memories are connected to this garden.
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The house, built in 1965, was my first project, after I graduated in Architecture! For 10 years, during summer, I ran in this garden a ‘Scuolina’, a free Art School for the children of Casteldaccia and nearby towns, teaching drawing, painting and ceramics. Every year I return with my family to this house and to Casteldaccia to restore my energy and get in touch with my roots.

My home is located off the main road of Casteldaccia, at walking distance from all the stores. At the same time, it allows me to retreat at home in the paradise of my subtropical garden.
Casteldaccia is close to Bagheria, a larger town, where I can go shopping, and still enjoy the fresh air of the country site.
Palermo, the capital of Sicily, is only 20 minutes away from my reach, with its history, culture and traditions, restaurants, museums, churches.
