This area offers many attractions. It is possible to enjoy a wide and clean 'silver beach', sunbathe, doing watersports, fishing, sailing or taking a walk, playing tennis, cycling, jogging or horseriding any time during the day. As an alternative to a full day spent on the beach, many close historical and typical towns and villages are worth to be visited for their amazing architecture and athmosphere or to spend a lovely evening attending traditional events, festivals, palio races.You can also enjoy Abruzzo traditional cuisine picking among many lovely traditional restaurants cooking both meat and fish according to local flavoured recipes.
Wineyards can be visited to taste and purchase some of the best Italian wines.
The 'Appennini' chain mountain is very close with its highest peak 'Gran Sasso' and one of the most famous Italian Natural Parks. Tours, visits, trekking, rafting and other activities can be easily organized during the day including local products taste and purchase.
