Custom-made beds and fresh 100% cotton bed and shower linen will insure you the best comfort while you sleep. The new kitchen, fully equipped with all you need for gourmet cooking, is furnished with love and care to the smallest detail. We have provided you with a wall safe, should you wish to have extra protection for your jewelry and valuables. Wireless High Speed Internet is provided at no extra charge. In the villa you will find books, maps, guides.

For your added security and convenience, we have installed a safe in the house. Children welcome. Pets also welcome however they need to be approved and registered. Barbeque, griddle, deep-frying and smoking on covered terrace only. Only registered guests have the use of the villa. In July and August, the villa is available to large groups only.

Coal barbeque unit and exterior burners allow you to barbeque, griddle or deep fry on the covered patio area
Across the terrace is the subtropical garden and the orchard. Lemon, fig, pomegranate, olive, loquat trees mingle with prickly pears, palms and oleander trees, jasmine, bougainvilleas, wild asparagus, scented herbs and 6 feet high geranium bushes

Coast/Beach
The beaches of Casteldaccia, Cefalu`, Mondello are located on the north coast of Sicily. Along this coast, facing the enclosed Mediterranean sea, the sea water is much warmer, calmer and pleasant than the southern coast of Sicily, exposed to the open sea
Beaches can be public with free access or private. These will charge a small amount for the use of umbrellas, chairs, changing rm, showers and bathroom facilities

This villa is located in the heart of Casteldaccia, a quaint village on a Sicilian hill, 2 km from the sea and 20 min. easy drive to Palermo Casteldaccia is east of Palermo, very convenient to avoid city traffic when driving for a day trip to Cefalu`, Taormina, Mount Etna, Siracusa, Agrigento, Selinunte. Excellent is the local production of wine, don’t forget to tour the factories and taste the world renown wine 'Corvo, Duca di Salaparuta' and the pasta Tomasello.

In my garden
About the owner
The garden has been in my family since the year 1725, date of foundation of Casteldaccia. I grew up and played every summer with my brother and my cousins in this garden, at that time much larger. Many years later, also my children played in it every summer. Many of my fondest memories are connected to this garden.
Year purchased: 1960's
Why the owner chose a home in this location
The house, built in 1965, was my first project, after I graduated in Architecture! For 10 years, during summer, I ran in this garden a ‘Scuolina’, a free Art School for the children of Casteldaccia and nearby towns, teaching drawing, painting and ceramics. Every year I return with my family to this house and to Casteldaccia to restore my energy and get in touch with my roots.
Unique benefits of the property
My home is located off the main road of Casteldaccia, at walking distance from all the stores. At the same time, it allows me to retreat at home in the paradise of my subtropical garden.
Casteldaccia is close to Bagheria, a larger town, where I can go shopping, and still enjoy the fresh air of the country site.
Palermo, the capital of Sicily, is only 20 minutes away from my reach, with its history, culture and traditions, restaurants, museums, churches.
