Casa Rosa (2 bedroom, Sleeps 4/5)

The flat is on the ground floor of an ancient building. It is safe, quite and bright, the windows face south west looking onto the gardens and east to the attractive little Rosa square. Every window and the garden also enjoy a beautiful view of the walls. There is an elegant sitting room, a fully equipped spacious kitchen. Bathroom with shower. A bedroom with a king size bed, an extra large bedroom with a king size bed and a single bed. An utility room with washing machine and sink. Cot and highchair are available. The apartment has the exclusive use of the walled garden, which is furnished with table, chairs, sunbed and barbecue. The Lucca train station is just in the other side of the massive Walls, only a 3 minutes walk far from the apartment.

Casa Giò (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2/4)

The apartment is located on the 3rd (top) floor of a renaissance palace. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Large living room with a double sofa-bed. Large bedroom with a king size bed. Bathroom with bath and shower. The rooftop terrace is the main reason for renting this property - the panoramic view of Lucca is breathtaking.

Notes on accommodation
There isn't air-conditioning in the apartments but the thich stone wall keep the rooms cool on even the hottest tuscan day.

Accessibility
The apartment on the ground floor is suitable for family with children, for elderly and may be suitable for people with mobility problems.The apartment on the third floor isn't suitable for elderly as sorry there isn't an elevator.

Outside
Casa Rosa apartment has the exclusive use of the garden which is furnished with table, chairs, sunbed and BBQ. Casa Giò apartment has a large, equally furnished, panoramic roof terrace. The walled garden and the terrace are fantastic places to relax and sunbathe, drink an aperitif and have romantic BBQ dinners in the evenings whilst enjoing the breathtaking view.

Coast/Beach
Versilia beaches easy reachable by train or motorway: Viareggio 20km/12 miles, Forte dei Marmi 29km/18 miles.

Travel
A car is not necessary as the Lucca train station is just in the other side of the walls, only an easy few minutes walk. The nearest airport well connected to Lucca via the local train line, is the Galilei International Airport in Pisa. Several trains go throughout the day Pisa - Lucca (20 mins). The bus goes direct from the airport to the centre of Lucca (50 mins).

'Large, clean, and bright apartment with a great location inside the old city walls of Lucca. The apartment was very spacious and had all the equipment you could need and good security. Short walking distances to butcher, baker, supermarket, restaurants and safe walking throughout the town. It is in a fairly quiet part of town a short walk from the train station. Bookcase is well stocked and basic tourist info on the town and surroundings area is provided. The owner is delightful and a joy to work with in planning your stay. We look forward to returning’.
