The property features everything necessary for a wonderful holiday in a medieval town nestled in the hills above the Mediterranean sea. There is a double bedroom, modern bathroom, expansive sitting room, fitted kitchen and large sitting room. The terrace above has a BBQ to accommodate alfresco dining or you may prefer to just sit and enjoy the spectacular views. The narrow alleys within Ceriana don't allow traffic so the area is very peaceful however, parking is available around the town off the main streets. Close to the property is a restaurant where you can eat typical Italian food. Only a few steps further is the main street with bars, shops, post office and bank. This property is not suitable for young children as it has stairs leading from one floor to another however, it is perfect as a romantic getaway for a couple or as a place for friends to relax together.

Notes on prices
Prices are for one week's accommodation for two persons. 3 or more will cost £50 extra per week - childen using the bedsettee in the one bedroom are free.
Short breaks may be had by prior arrangement. Longer stays of over two weeks cost less! Call to discuss! During the winter months of November to March, we request a further payment of £10 per day or £60 per week to cover the cost of heating.

| Bedrooms: | The bedroom is large enough to accommodate a double bed plus a small bed settee for a child of 7 or more. There is a wardrobe and bedside tables. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is large and has been recently updated to include shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. There is also a washing machine. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is situated at the top of the house overlooking the alley. It is fitted with a dining table, 6 chairs, sink, hob, fridge, plenty of storage and a characterful wood burning stove. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room is situated at the back of the property with wonderful views of the adjoining hills. It is tastefully furnished with bed settee, two armchairs, coffee table, storage and TV. |
| Other: | The terrace is reached via steps from the kitchen. Although the accent is step the climb is worth it as the views are spectacular and the terrace roomy with a BBQ. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included in the rental. The property will be cleaned on changeover and clean linen will be provided. Extra linen and/or cleaning can be had by prior arrangement with the owner or assistant. |

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is spacious and well accommodated being recently decorated and updated to a modern standard but in keeping with the style of the property.
Accessibility
The accommodation is situated in the centre of a historical town and can only be reached by foot along narrow alleyways with a moderate amount of steps. the property itself spans 4 stories making it unsuitable for young children. Please remember you will have to carry everything you wish to bring.
Outside
There is a roomy terrace at the top of the property furnished with a BBQ ready for alfresco dining. The terrace overlooks the hills over the ajoining valley as well as the east side of the town.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach at Bussana is 20 minutes drive away by car. More beaches can be found at Arma de Taggia and Sanremo. Most beaches provide umbrellas and sunbeds at a small cost. A beach cafe is available on all but a few of the beaches found along the Ligurian coast.
Golf
There is a golf course in Sanremo 12km away. Sanremo is a beautiful town on the coast of the Italian Riviera, which, itself is only 35km distant from Montecarlo.
Skiing
The ski resort of Limone is 2 hours north of Ceriana and can be reached by train or by car.
Travel
The nearest airport is Nice in France, 45 minutes drive. Genoa, in Italy, is a little farther away at about 3hrs. The village is well served by public transport, a bus every hr or so that goes down to the coast. Renting a car would give you more flexibility and afford you easier access to other villages in the surrounding area.
Distances
9km up from Ceriana there is Bajardo, right up in the mountains, 880m above the sea level. The road stops there and you can see the French Alps. It is full of wonderful, unspoiled and untravelled walks and footpaths. There are also restaurants and shops.
Further details
In Ceriana every year at Easter time, there is a great procession, with singing which goes on for 3 days. We have 5 choirs who perform regularly at various Italian events and have been on tour all over Italy and also in the USA. Everyone can sing in Ceriana! There is also a music festival on the 7th of September, which occurs every year and lasts for days, as it is the Saint Patron`s feast. During the summer months, starting in July, the village council provides entertainment in the main square every week-end with dancing and singing, which is free. The square is equipped with tables and benches and one can purchase cooked food, from local sausages to kebabs, pasta, risotto and chips. Ceriana has many beautiful old churches (33 in total), 'la chiesa vecchia' is from the 11th century. There are also many piazza's, where people can sit and chat, while kids ride their tricycles or skate. There about 1000 inhabitants, during the winter and possibly few more in the Summer. It is a vibrant village, with lots going on.

Less than 2 weeks no refund.
Payments can be made by bank or postepay. A refundable deposit will be required from which the cost of any breakages will be deleted.
