Cottages Il Grappolo and Il Girasole

The Well is located half way between the medieval walls of Monteriggioni and the wonderful city of Siena (10 mins distance from each other). It is a large hunting lodge of the 15th century, to which a Chapel in the 18th century and other out-buildings in the 19th century have been annexed. Vines and olive trees, cypresses, firs, plants, ilexes are around the property for about 14 hectares. It is a place of peace and meditation, rich of colours and strong feelings. There are three cottages: Girasole (2+2), Grappolo (2+2) and Villetta (7+2). Villetta has large, private external areas, with a big, covered veranda where you can always dine outside. The swimming pool is beside the small ducks lake and a gazebo, shered by Il Grappolo and Il Girasole, covers small tables and chairs for pleasant breakfasts in the shadow. A small jogging path runs through the large property enjoying the scents of nature.

La Villetta - 120 sq.m. - sleeps 6+2 - 3 bedrooms - 2 bathrooms with shower.
Ground Floor:
large living-room with kitchen, dishwasher, a dining-area and a comfortable double sofa-bed, going up three steps: 1 double bedroom, 1 room with comfortable double sofabed, 1 bathroom with shower. All of the rooms on the ground floor have access to the garden.
First Floor:
Small studio, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower. Large private outdoor areas with veranda furnished for dining outside. 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor.

1 single bed in a open space on the 1st floor.
Double sofa bed in the living room.
1 bathroom per floor, each one with shower, WC and bidet.
Kitchen with hob, microwaves, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, iron, stove, wash basin, toaster, American coffee machine, teapot, espresso coffee, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery and complete set of saucepans.

The Well - Il Grappolo (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4)

Il Grappolo 50 m˛ 4 guests, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower.
It has two bedrooms: the first one with a double bed and the other one with a comfortable double sofa bed (for just 2 people this room becomes a comfortable lounge).
The double sofa bed can be converted into twin beds on request.
The private ground floor entrance, up a few steps from the drive, leads into the kitchen/living room with table and chairs and satellite television. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, kettle, table and chairs, refrigerator, stove, washbasin, toaster, American coffee machine, espresso coffee, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, complete set of saucepans, cooker, hob.
Off this on either side are the two bedrooms and en suite shower rooms.

Located on the ground floor.
Private entrance leading to fully equipped kitchen/lounge with a double sofabed, satellite TV, table and chairs. 3 steps to the double bedroom with bathroom and shower.
Furnished garden area with BBQ few meters from the apartment, by the swimming pool.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, kettle, table and chairs, refrigerator, stove, washbasin, toaster, American coffee machine, espresso coffee, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, complete set of saucepans, hob.

Notes on accommodation
Individual heating (additional cost, EUR 20,00 per day).
Maid service (EUR 15,00 per hour).

Vines and olive trees, cypresses, firs, planets, ilexes are around the property for about 14 hectares. Place of peace and meditation, rich of colours and strong feelings. The property enjoy complete independence and privacy and has a beautiful panorama over the vineyards and the woods that cover the nearby hill. Villetta has large, private external areas, with a big, covered veranda where you can always dine outside. The swimming pool, created in a panoramic area, is beside the small ducks lake and the gazebos cover small tables and chairs for pleasant breakfasts in the shadow. A small jogging path runs in the large property through the scents of the nature.
Golf
We have 2 golf courses within a 10 min drive from the house - Villa Cennina Golf Club (Strada Prov. di Celsa 195 Cennina - Sovicille (SI). L'Abbadia Golf Club (Loc. La Badia 14a, Colle Val d'Elsa).
Skiing
Monte Amiata is far only 1,5 hour by car.

Horseback riding (Centro Ippico Senese) 2 kms.
Distances
Villa Il Pozzo lies between Monteriggioni and Siena (7km) from the old city centre and 3km from the outskirts), in beautiful countryside and close to many interesting local villages. You can reach San Gimignano in about 30 mins and Florence in about an hour by car.

There are many restaurants that offer delicious Tuscan cuisine and offering excellent Chianti wines.

The sweets were so good, everyone kept saying ‘can I have one more puff’ - they were a hit. As well as the starter, it was beautiful and delicious.
