Outside
The main feature of the villa is a huge terrace with lots of plants, flowers, top furniture and an extra stylish ceramic sink. This terrace is very private and enjoys a nice view of the mountains on one side. The view from the terrace, the mountains, the sea, the apricot, lemon, orange and olive trees will all contribute to recharge your mind and spirit. It is an ideal space for kids to run around safely and for adults to relax, enjoy the view, dine outside or sunbath.
Golf
The Picciolo Golf Club is the first golf course constructed in Sicily. It was designed, in the 1989, by Luigi Rota Caremoli. The beautiful 18 holes are among oaks, hazels and vineyards. How to get there: From the motorway A-18 Catania-Messina take the Fiumefreddo di Sicilia exit; then follow the S.S. 120 direction: Piedimonte Etneo, Linguaglossa, Randazzo. After 800 mts from the turning for Castiglione di Sicilia, on the left there are 2 big pine trees.

Mount Etna lies near the Ionian coast of Sicily and occupies a surface area of around 1300 km2 with a perimeter exceeding 120 miles. It changes frequently according to eruptive activity or minor collapse events at the top craters. The average altitude is about 3300 meters (12540 feet).

The closest airport is in Catania, 40 minutes drive to Taormina, and we organise transfer from the airport to destination and return. We also organize 1 day excursions on the mountains and trips to the nearby towns and around Sicily.

Taormina is one the most enchanting villages of the Sicilian coast and has a personality of its own that is not simply there to please the tourist, giving it an authentic Sicilian air. It is an attractive resort for those who appreciate a town that knows how to relax.
The south district of Taormina, called Letojanni is a fishermen’s village, built in Mediterranean Style with houses that have bright and colourful facades, around the main beach and overlooks one of the world’s most beautiful bay. The closest beach has both free space and private and luxurious lidos. You can also practice most of see activities here and it is ideal for kids too. The small pedestrian streets around the main square build, with man full of character shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes, the actual centre of the village. Central to Taormina's character are thriving industries such as the cultivation of olives, wine grapes, almonds and various fruits. This makes the local cuisine a joyful experience, always fresh and tantalising. Fresh and very high quality(all organic) local produce is sold at the many daily markets and delicatessens along the coast and around the main square and there are several restaurants, within walking distance, that serve typical Sicilian cuisine (pizzas too). Of course fresh fish is easy to find at the nearby fishmongers and it is served in most restaurants.

We require a 30% of the full rental price as a deposit, upon booking request. The balance of the total rental price will have to be paid 8 weeks upon arrival of arrival. 300 euros breakage deposit returned on departure. Christmas special offer - 2 weeks 1000 euros.

I am Italian, from Sicily, but have been living in London for many years, with my husband and now our little daughter. I look after my family's business with the help of my sister Giuliana, who lives in Catania and speaks perfect English and Spanish. However, I try to be in Sicily as much as possible, to welcome guests and help them have the nicest time as possible.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Taormina is a very pretty area and has the gift of having the best of nature in one spot. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy the hills and the beach at the same time. The apartment seems ideal to us, very close to the center, the beach and all the amenities, yet away from the crowd and with a very private feel. Also, the property is more than a mere holiday house, because has all the comforts a town house enjoys.
