The particular position of the property, as well as offering tranquillity and privacy with its unique panorama which has been unchanged since 1300, also makes it the perfect spot from which to make pleasant excursions to places in the surrounding area; historical cities of Florence and Siena are little more than half an hour away. Prices shown are for unit per week in Euros. High season: June-July–August. MID: April - May - September - October (Xmas, New Year, Easter). Low: other months. Extras: Gas for Heating during cold months. All units are fully equipped for your sleeping and cooking requirements. Sheets and towels are supplied with weekly change of linens every Saturday (not including towels for the swimming pool). The units are usually rented on a weekly basis.

Ground floor: large living room, with two entryways and large characteristic windows with views, which is subdivided into three sections: a sitting room with divans, a study, a dining area and kitchen equipped with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher and large fireplace. First floor: 1 single bedroom, private bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and bidet; 1 double bedroom (the large king size bed can be split in two singles upon request) and 1 bedroom with 2 beds(the two beds can be joined together in one large king size upon request), 1 bathroom with shower and window, toilet and bidet. Use of centralized laundry room and ironing board. Notes on accommodation
IMPORTANT information for all holiday-makers: Castello di Pastine offers holiday homes (Case appartamenti Vacanze); they are not official tourist structures, such as hotels, residences, etc. but private houses. Being such, they do not have standards or categories that are internationally recognized, indeed they reflect, in their architecture and furnishing, the local traditions and the personal taste of the owner. This is precisely the kind of holiday we offer: the chance to partake in the culture of Tuscany, living in the same surroundings as an inhabitant would. In order to live this experience in the right spirit, it is important not only that the holiday-maker accepts but also that he will be able to appreciate the differences in the properties we are proposing in comparison with those where he normally lives.
Outside
The property is situated inside a spectacular park which, with its romantic paths and breathtaking perspectives, provides the opportunity for pleasant walks immersed in nature. The 9 x 18m swimming pool has areas reserved for each apartment and fully equipped with deck chairs, sun beds and beach umbrellas. The tennis/five-a-side football ground in synthetic grass, can be floodlit in the evening; close by there is also a ping-pong table and a small skating rink for children. Trekking trails in the woods of the park are reserved exclusively for the use of guests while not far from the property there are excellent restaurants where you can enjoy dishes that have made Tuscan cooking famous throughout the world. Just a few minutes away by car are supermarkets, shops and sports activities (golf, horse riding, bike hire etc…) which our staff will be pleased to help you choose from. Golf
- Golf Club Ugolino at 35 Km: The clubhouse was built by Architect Gerardo Bosio who designed a structure fully functional and enjoyable to this day. It is one of the best examples of rationalist architecture and is cataloged and protected by the Department of Fine Arts. Distances
Castello di Pastine is situated in an excellent position a little over 30 km from Florence and Siena, both of which can be reached within half an hour. About 11 km away is the fascinating town of Certaldo, a medieval fortress and the native city of Boccaccio— one of the fathers of Italian literature and the author of the Decameron. San Gimignano, the well-preserved medieval city of towers is just 15 km away, while Volterra, a historic Etruscan city, is just 43 km.

We would like to thank you for making our visit to Tuscany just perfect! Castello di Pastine was an amazing place for our family to relax and enjoy all that Tuscany has to offer.The accommodations were great and your recommendations on places to eat and visit were right on the mark. Pastine was so convenient to places like S. Gimignano, Siena, Florence and the Chianti hill towns. The boys loved the pool, soccer pitch and ping pong table and made fast friends with the children in 2 of the other apartments.Oh, and I must mention that the photos just can't do justice to the view from the sunset deck.
