This newly built modern 2 bedroom apartment sleeps up to 7. A central location close to all amenities with only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Alba Adriatica is called ‘Silver Beach’ due to its 3km of very fine sandy beaches. It has a ‘blue flag of Europe’ and is one of the most well-known and established resorts in the Abruzzo region. The sea in Alba Adriatica is ideal for those who want gently shelving sea beds and clear water that is among the cleanest in the Adriatic sea. There are also plenty of opportunities for those who are fond of water sports such as sailing, water skiing and windsurfing. You can also hire boats, pedal’s and canoes.

Changeover day
Saturday is the normal changeover day unless otherwise arranged with the owner. Vacation of the room for cleaning is needed by 9am. Check in time is 1pm.

Coast/Beach
The beach is a 10 min walk away, which runs for 3km and is lined with 26 beach bars and restaurants which are child friendly (swings, slides and climbing frames) making it a great beach for the family. There is a promenade with a separate cycle path which enables you to walk or cycle to and from other local beaches safely at your own pace.
Travel
Alba Adriatica is situated approx 60km north of Pescara airport (45 mins drive) and 106km south of Ancona airport (1hr 15 mins drive). Both have easy access to trains which stop in Alba Adriatica itself. Taxis are available from the train station to the apartment (5 mins by taxi).
Distances
You may want to explore the regions small historic towns with their piazzas, churches and winding streets or stop for a coffee or ice cream in one of the cafe bars and just watch the day go by.They are numerous and start with Tortereto Alto 10 min drive away to Teramo the regions capital around 1hr away. Past here lies the National Parks of Abruzzo. Car hire is recommended as the public transport is very limited and there are many interesting places to visit. Local cantinas do have wine tours.
Further details
Alba Adriatica has all the amenities you will need banks/cashpoint machines, market on Mondays, shops, summer stalls, supermarkets, chemist and a tourist medical centre. Alba has café bars and restaurants to make your holiday stay pleasurable. Along the sea front you have many beach bars and restaurants. In the day you can get light snacks, ice cream, sandwiches or an Italian style mid-day lunch and in the evening some of them change from bars to pizzerias, tratorias and restaurants with live music and entertainment; an ideal way of relaxing and trying some of Italy’s most wonderful cuisine. All during the peak summer season the local council puts on street entertainment (live music shows, volley ball championships, Miss/Mr Italia )for the tourists.
Booking notes
20% deposit required at time of booking and balance payable 8 weeks before you travel. If travel is within 8 weeks then full payment is necessary at time of booking.
