The apartment is located in Ponte e Seraglio part of the historic spa town of Bagni di Lucca. Well situated for local amenities, the location offers the option of a quiet relaxing holiday (walking in the hills, playing tennis, swimming or horseback riding) or using it as a base to explore Northern Tuscany (Lucca, Florence, and Sienna are all within easy reach). For those who like the beach, Camaiore and Viareggio are a short drive, while in the winter skiing and snowboarding are available in Abetone.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday. However, there may be some degree of flexibility in low season, please ask when making initial enquiry.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the top floor of the building, up 2 flights of stairs, and is unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. It is also not suitable for young children.

There is a balcony with small table and 2 chairs.
Coast/Beach
The resorts of Camairore and Viareggio are a 45 minute drive.
Skiing
The ski resort of Abetone is a 45 minute drive.
Travel
Bagni di Lucca is about a 50 minute drive from Pisa airport. It is also possible to fly into Florence airport which is 80 minutes from Bagni di Lucca.
While hiring a car is not essential (local train and bus services are good and cheap) it is recommended if you want to travel extensively around the area.

The centre of Bagni di Lucca is a short walk and has all amenities you might need including restaurants, pizzerias, cafe bars, 2 supermarkets, and banks (with ATMs).
There is an outdoor swimming pool in the village centre with a poolside bar and café and a separate childrens pool. There are also outdoor tennis courts and a local stable provides horseback riding.
The hills surrounding Bagni di Lucca are perfect for walking and the tourist information office can supply details whether you want a stroll or something altogether more energetic.
If you want to be pampered there is also a local spa which offers a variety of beauty treatments.
Booking notes
A 30% non refundable deposit is required within 10 days of booking. Remainder of payment is due 6 weeks before arrival. Apartment bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival require 100% of payment upon booking. Bedlinen and towels are included in the rates. Extra towels, bed linen and mid stay cleaning can be provided for an additional charge. Paypal option available. Long weekend breaks may be available. Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am, though this may be flexible.

Northern Tuscany is a wonderful place to visit whether you want to relax or travel around and sightsee. Florence, Pisa and Lucca are nearby, the coast is within easy reach, and there is fantastic walking virtually on the doorstep.
Pisa airport is a 50 minute drive.
