In the middle of Cixerri River Valley, this charming house is a little jewel of biological architecture. It is an historical palace of XIXth century, recently completely restored. The house lies in the historical centre of a nice village, 10 metres far from the main square of Villamassargia, Piazza Pilar (the real beating heart of the village). The house is independent. The country is rich in Mediterranean plants and overall of olive threes. Here nature is generous and there is the opportunity of tasting a big variety of organic food: olive oil, honey, milk and cheese. The first economical activity in Villamassargia is textile small industry thanks to a very old tradition. From the house you can have a view on the sweet mountains of Cixerri River Valley and get to the seaside in less than 15 minutes by car/motorbike.

The bedrooms are entirely furnished in the traditional style of Sardinia with the family’s carefully restored antique furniture. All bedrooms have charming private bathrooms. Every accomodation has a charming private bathroom. Violet Room: double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, writing desk, chairs, private bathroom. Daisy Room: two single beds, bedside tables, wardrobe, writing desk, chairs, private bathroom. Geranium Room: double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, writing desk, chairs, private bathroom. Three private bathrooms: there is one bathroom for each room (with sink, mirror, WC, bidet, shower). TV room: Our guests can relax in the enchanting reading room after a day at the beach, chat to the owners or simply watch TV. Breakfast room: There is a spacious breakfast room at guests’ disposal, where they can also admire some fascinating testimony to the past. Notes on accommodation
Biological building techniques keep the house warm in winter time and fresh in summer time. Anyway, we provide heating from October to March and a room fan from April to September.
Outside
Outside there is a courtyard and a patio (both private) with comfortable chairs, flowers and plants for you best relaxing or reading moments.
Coast/Beach
From our Bed & Breakfast you can reach the most beautiful beaches of South Sardinia: it’s a marvellous experience to find rocky and sandy coasts with no buildings all around and that are still not even discovered. From Villamassargia it takes you less then 15 mins by car or motorbike to get there. A splendid coastline, characterised by long expanses of fine, golden sand, but also by sheer cliffs dropping down to the blue sea: this is what nature can offer you in South West Sardinia.

Car/ motorbike recommended.
How to arrive: from Cagliari follow SS130. After 44km turn right when you see the sign 'Carbonia-Domusnovas–Villamassargia'. Then follow road signs only to Villamassargia. When you arrive in town, follow Via Roma (Roma Street) and turn left at the 2nd crossroads after the post office.
