Masseria Luce is a fortified farmhouse typical of the Murgian countryside, constructed between the 15th and 16th century. Architecturally it is a 'farmhouse-tower', a perfect cube shaped building surrounded by high walls. An ancient partially hypogeum stone oil press, the stables and a beautiful little church, still consecrated, are also part of this Masseria.
We rent out a 100 square meters independent apartment, called 'The Shelter' and located inside this beautiful complex. The shelter has a living room, two bedrooms, dinette kitchen, bathroom and a beautiful veranda. Car place available.

| Other: | On the veranda there is also the possibility for cooking outside and a living area under the shadow of an old carob tree. All the furnishings of the house is in old style made by local artisans in wood or wrought iron. |

Linen and towels are available on request at cost of 10 Euro per person. Cleaning is included in the expenses cost together with elctricity and gas (50 Euro - week + 25 Euro for heating during winter). |

Coast/Beach
Beaches are very close. Our guests can go by bicycle or by car to the famous Capitolo beaches as well as to the ruins of Egnazia, a pre-Romanian port on the Traianus road. The natural garden terraces of Loggia di Pilato and Selva di Fasano are also very close, suspended between sky and sea and...olive trees.
Golf
Golf course available in Savelletri, near Masseria San Domenico at only 5 minutes driving.

Travel
How to get here:
By air: to Bari or Brindisi airport, both at 65 km distance, direct flights from London.
By train: to Monopoli station at 8 km or Fasano station at 7 km.
It is highly recommended to hire a car for moving around, in fact there is no public transportation in the area.
