Outside
The house is surrounded on three sides by outside stone terraces so that all day round the best situation can be exploited. To the side of the house is a long table for wining and dining under the shade of it's pergola or watching the amazing sunsets. The kitchen door opens to a terrace behind the house where the sun hits early for outdoor breakfasts in a sheltered spot for out of season guests. A swing hangs from a large oak tree in front of the house. Five minutes down the dirt driveway at the agriturismo to the left guests will be welcomed at the outdoor swimmingpool surrounded by green in a peaceful location amidst the olive trees. Outside there are endless walks in woods and National park, behind property and surrounding hills. Outdoor furniture available.
Coast/Beach
One and a half hours Argentaria, Porto San Stefano ferry to Isola del Giglio.
Skiing
40 minutes to Monte Amiata in lower Tuscany.
Travel
Rome airport one and a half hours, Pisa two and a half hours.
Distances
Civitella del Lago, a historical medieval very traditional village lies two kilometres to the right and Montecchio another medieval village lies two kilometres to the left. These villages have butcher, groceries, post office etc. There is a bank in Montecchio. Market in Montecchio on Friday and Civitella Monday.
Further details
Famous Vissani restaurant lies 10 min. away on Lake Corbara, Trippini restaurant in Civitella del Lago. Il Corno Rosso 10 min away. Great fish restaurant I Gelsi. Orvieto 14 kilometres full of restaurants and attractions. Market Saturday morning and Thursday morning. Todi 14kms in opposite direction. L'umbria great restaurant in centre of Todi.
