You can rent the top floor of this historic farmhouse with its independent access. It sleeps 7 comfortably in the three bedrooms and an addition sofa-bed is available in the sitting room.
The stone farmhouse, built in the 19th century, is at a height of 320m, near the old route connecting Foiano to Castiglion Fiorentino. There are panoramic views of the old castle of Montecchio and Cortona, a short drive from the farmhouse. S. Savino Mountain, Lucignano and the Trasimeno Lake are all close by, offering plenty of cultural attractions and the folklore of international renown. The farmhouse is situated in the Chiana Valley, a beautiful natural environment characterised by low hills, each concealing an endless variety of landscapes. The farmhouse is tastefully decorated and welcoming, in line with the cottage atmosphere.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a fully-fenced 4.5-hectare park, with a nice swimming-pool (6x14 m) in a panoramic and sunny position, fully equipped with beach-umbrellas, deck-chairs and sunbeds. A barbecue and other equipment are available to eat in the open air.

Leisure activities: picturesque horse-riding (stables 1 km) in Valdichiana, a nice way to peacefully discover the surrounding and unspoilt countryside; trekking and mountain-bike rental.
Direct sale of the estate’s products: extra-virgin oil. Grab the unique chance to visit a typical dairy farm close to our farmhouse, which produces and sells cheese, ricotta and sheep’s cheese. “Pecorino” is the most typical traditional Tuscan cheese.
Summary description of the product: Seasoned ‘pecorino’ (sheep’s cheese) is about 2.5 kg , it has a pale yellow texture and small holes. It is seasoned for at least 120 days, and has a strong and slightly spicy flavour. Fresh pecorino is about 1 kg, and has a compact white texture. Seasoning lasts for at least 20 days, though the cheese is usually eaten after 30-45 days.

Moreover the first Sunday of September the city accommodates the ancient Giostra of the Saracino, typical medieval quarrel. If you will be hosts of the Brolio Quinto farm holidays, in the months of July and August you can assist to the famous Palio of the city of Siena, which is only distant 45 km.
Siena is soaked of traditions and artistic masterpieces of inestimable beauty like the Cathedral, the Communal Palace and the famous square Piazza del Campo, where takes place the Palio.
More nearby, and not less interesting, we can find cities like Cortona, than in the August month she accommodates a famous market of the antique; wealth of Castiglion Fiorentino are art works which as the Church of Saint Francisco of the 1200. Castiglion Fiorentino is also the inhabited center more neighbor to the BROLIO QUINTO farm holidays.
An other goal for interesting tourist routes can be Pienza, a jewel of the renaissance architecture. But not even Chianciano Terme, elegant thermal station the much famous for its curative waters and a lot searched shopping that cannot be omitted. Famous Montalcino for its most valuable wine quality Brunello and Montepulciano with the wine quality Nobile

dominic hines. I hope this review is good for you to use on your website. If you want me to give my opinion on anything extra, please ask me. We had a wonderful holiday at Brolio- five adults and two children. The property has open views to Cortona at some 9km distant and is well positioned to enjoy trips to some beautiful places. It's easy to get to and find. The apartment was very spacious and contained everything we needed, such as a washing machine (essential when you have kids) and a fully functional kitchen. Everything was in perfect order and well presented. The owner, Giovanna, was a perfect host and provided us with plenty of information to make our stay in the area enjoyable. The garden was both extensive and beautiful. There were loads of things to eat in it - the cherries were fantastic. Giovann
