Changeover day
The changeover day is usually on Saturday, but can be flexible. Clients are kindly requested to arrive after 4pm. Clients are kindly asked to depart by 10am.
Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have central heating and can be rented all year round. Both apartments can be suitable for children.
Outside
Apartment Amelia offers a very spacious terrace, ideal for eating outside or just relaxing on those warm summer evenings. The terrace is provided with table and chairs, and outdoor furniture. Apartment Lidia offers a terrace at the front of the kitchen, this terrace is adjacent to next door apartment, but it is very pleasant and cool to eat there in the evenings or to have breakfast in the mornings. Apartment Lidia has also two balconies from the two double bedrooms.
On the terrace there is a table with chairs, additional furniture can be added if required.
Coast/Beach
The beach is at 3km, and can be reached by car in 10 minutes or by bicycle in about 20 minutes. If you decide to go by bicycle, there is a lovely tree-lined avenue which links Pietrasanta to the seaside town of Marina di Pietrasanta, where all the beach clubs are situated... as well as very good restaurants and ice-cream parlours.
Golf
The Verslia Golf Club is situated at 3km. from Pietrasanta. There is a 18-holes Course, driving range, putting-green and pitching-green, clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop. Travel
Pisa airport is at about 37km from the properties. There is a direct motorway from the airport to the exit Versilia, which is at about 3km. from Pietrasanta.
Pietrasanta train station is at about 900m from the properties. Pietrasanta is very well served by buses and trains, so renting a car is not essential.

Further details
The town is abundant with authentic restaurants serving food to satisfy the most discerning of palates and café life spills out on to the square. and it offers a very good quality standard, very practical and convenient for local shopping, train or buses and for the seaside. Very close to a good local supermaket, a laundrette, a greengrocer, a bar and patisserie, and they are located at about 5 minutes' walking from all the town's shops. Restaurants and cafes are at about 800m distance. The nearest banks and post office are at about 800ms, only a 5/10 minutes' walking from the apartments. In the town centre there is also a tourist information kiosk, where staff will be always happy to direct you to all the sights and events of the area.
Booking notes
Renting week is from Saturday to Saturday. A 40% deposit on the full rental price is payable upon booking, with the balance of the payment due at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit payable on arrival and fully refundable on departure, is required against damages.

About the owner
I'm native from Pietrasanta and lived there until 1995 when I moved to the United Kingdom. The apartments are part of 2 large houses (originally single properties, one of which I grew up in) that were originally built by my grandfather when he came back from Scotland in the Fifties.
Year purchased: 1950's
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
They have always been the family properties.
My grandfather chose Pietrasanta when he had to build his properties, because he could see the advantage of being close to the seaside and the mountains, but also because Pietrasanta is an optimal location to visit beautiful towns, such as Pisa, Florence and Lucca.
Unique benefits of the property
The apartments are located in a very nice and quiet residential part of Pietrasanta. Pietrasanta especially in the summer,is a lovely and buzzing town, with lots of restaurants and cafes on the streets, therefore it can be rather noisy until the early hours of the morning.
I spend a lot of time in Pietrasanta during the summer, and it is lovely to visit the town centre at night, but then it is relaxing to walk back to the apartments (which are only 5/8 minutes walk away), leaving behind the noise and buzz of the centre.
