Buca del Tasso was completely restored in 2008. Its owners, wanted to preserve the typical architectural style of Lucca' s country houses but, inside, the house is very functional, modern and elegantly furnished. The house is formed by two floors. The ground floor is made up of a open space of about 70 m², including the dining room and a big kitchen, the hall and the living room with sofas and a big fireplace. There is also a litle toilet. On the first floor there is a double room (red room), a twin room (blue room), a bathroom with shower and the main bedroom (green room) with its bathroom. The house is surrounded by a garden, about 2000m², -even if the property is more then 25.000 m²- where you' ll find a nice gazebo overlooking the beautiful panorama and the swimming pool, (6m x 12m) open from 25th April to 5th October. "This is a house for those who love the countryside, nature and relaxation, but without suffocate by them, though" This is what one of the owners says....

| Kitchen: | The kitchen is very spacious and consists of an oven,a microwave, a hob 5 burners, double sink hole, a large refrigerator and freezer, and dishwasher.Also available electric kettle, juicer, food processors, toaster, blender immersion, electronic scales... |
| Living Rooms: | The dining area consists of a large table, six chairs and a chair (in case of a reservation of 7 people adds a chair). Here you will find the LCD TV, satellite receiver and DVD player. |
| Other: | On the ground floor there is also a relaxation area with sofas and chairs with arms raised in front of a large fireplace, here there is also the stereo - radio - CD player. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The cost includes the sheets, towels and final cleaning of the bathrooms of the house and cleaning the pool and garden. You can rent towels by the pool, which are not included. You can also use the rubbish service and midweek cleaning. |

Accessibility
The house being on two floors is not recommended for those who have difficulty moving, even if the steps are low.
Outside
The villa is located about 400 meters above sea level and has a garden of about 2000 square meters where you will find a gazebo with table and chairs overlooking the pool (6x12 high 1.20 to 2.40) with a staircase with whirlpool. Near the pool there is a solar shower and comfortable beds for sunbathing. In the garden you'll find a small charcoal barbeque.

You can find golf courses both in Lucca (18 km) which in Montecatini (27Km). But the most beautiful and exclusive golf courses are in Forte dei Marmi in Versilia (50km).
Special interest holidays
Even if Buca del Tasso is surrounded by the countryside, it is located in a strategic position both at national and regional level. In fact you can drive to Milan or Rome in about 4 hours. For fast movements you can reach Florence Peretola Airport or to the Pisa Airport, in less than one hour. In less than 30 minutes, you can reach the city of Lucca (18Km), beautiful art city known as the city of 100 churches. Montecatini Terme, is 27 Km far. Here you will have the possibility to relax at the Spa, or go shopping in the many exclusive shops. In Pisa, which is about 50 km far, you can see the Lungarno, the beautiful Cavallieri Square. Of course you cannot miss the Miracles Square, with the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Leaning Tower. In less than 40 minutes Versilia (50km far) is waiting for you with its beautiful and very exclusive (Forte dei Marmi) beach where you can go for a walk along the sea front. In less than one hour you can go to Florence (78Km) with "Uffizi gallery" ....

Why the owner chose a home in this location
La Buca del Tasso was bought for it's magnificent location. It is completely immersed in greenery and quiet but is very near to the most important and beautiful towns of Tuscany and to the sea.
Furthermore, the villa has breathtaking views both day and night.
