The Antico Frantoio in Vinci is a guest farm with a mansion that has just been restructured. It is located in the municipality of Vinci (where Leonardo was born) just 2km from the town with shops of all kinds. The charming country house, standing on a top of a hill with a superb view and a peaceful landscape, is surrounded by olive trees, and it is only 25 km. far from Florence, in an ideal position to reach Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena, Lucca, Pistoia as well. The house (more than 1000 sq.m.) is very spacious and has been divided into 8 large and elegant apartments for the guests, which can be joined to accommodate even large groups (till 9 persons in two joined apartaments 230 sq.m. or 12 persons in two joined apartments 270 sq.m. The whole property 1100 sq.m. can be rented to be an holiday accomodation suitable up to 33 persons in 8 apartments, 17 bedrooms perfect for holiday reunions-Half property with independent entrance offers 9 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms right for 16-18 peop.

Notes on prices
The weekly price of the apartment includes full set of towels, full set of sheets, lights, electricity, water, final cleaning, access to the swimming pool with sunbeds, use of grill and common areas, Baby cots and highchairs, private parking
Air con/heating is the only service to be paid a part in addition to this price and the service costs 15 euro for day. In case of short stays our regular rate is 60 euros per day for adult. Except July and August changeover day at your preference.
Changeover day
In July and August we rent apartments just weekly from Saturday to Saturday. During the rest of the year, if available, we accept even short stays (minimum stay two nights) and offer also B&B service on request.

Large living room with ancient paintings on the ceiling, two sofa and Tv sat (double sofa bed in case of need). Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge and freezer and fireplace in gray stone. Large bathroom with shower. Air conditioning. The apartment has independent entrance and it is on the ground floor. The apartment has also a private area outside with table, umbrella and chairs. |

Notes on accommodation
At our guests disposal is a laundry room with a washing machine, a swimming pool with sunbed and umbrellas, grill barbecue, ping pong, table football, flower garden.
Each apartment has independent air conditioning and heating.
There's a large arcade beetween the country house and the swimming pool area, near the ancient "fienile" in Tuscan style, equipped with wooden tables and chairs and with a wonderful landscape on the tower of Vinci where the guests can relax, read a book or enjoy their time talking each other.
A great elegant iron made gazebo is set in the garden with private table and benches for each apartment.
Additional meal services are available for large groups like tuscan dinners, breakfast service, pizza party.
Outside
Swimming pool 6m x 12m for the guests surrounded by olive trees with a wonderful view on the countryside, with bed, chairs and umbrellas. Sun terrace, showers, toilet and changing room. Heated hidromassage pool for 6 people to relax amid groves. Flower garden. Grill barbecue and ancient oven with table and benches. Ping pong table and table football. Slide for small children. Pools are open from April to the end of October. Panoramic arcade with wooden tables and chairs for outdoor moments of relax.
Coast/Beach
You can reach the beaches of the Tuscan coast in 40-50 min by car (Tirrenia, Viareggio e Forte dei Marmi).

Montelupo golf club: 15 km.
Travel
Nearest airport is Pisa (40 km) easily reachable through a
double carriage fast flowing road. The use of car is recommended because we're on the top of a Tuscan hill even if we're just 2km from the town.

in Sovigliana in the Municipality of Vinci or In Empoli city. If you like to walk amid nature, youl'll find also patches ideal for walking up and down the hills as well as it is possible to horse riding on hills at just 4 km from us.
Not far from the property, about 12 km you'll find the Thermal Bath , the biggest thermal cove named Grotta Giusti in Monsummano Terme village and the pleasant city of Montecatini Terme famous for wellness and spa but also for shopping (especially for italian shoes, leather coats, bags and cases)
In the nearby, 3-5 km there are two horseriding too and tennis courts.
Booking notes
If you decide to book an apartment you will be required to pay a 30% advance. On arrival we will ask you to pay a caution against damages of 200 euros per apartment, which will be returned to you before your departure. Don't wait more to book your holiday.
