This apartment, Il Castagno, comprises two bed rooms and can sleep up to max. 6 people. There is a living room and two large double bedrooms opening onto a large beautiful sea-view balcony,a living room, and can accommodate each another single bed if required. Both bedrooms have plenty of hanging and storage space and are equipped with extra blankets for cooler nights. The kitchen is compact but adequately equipped with cupboards, refrigerator, gas hob. Dining tables and enough chairs are provided for eating either inside or on the sea-view balcony. The apartment is provided with two bathrooms with showers and has ceramic tiled floors throughout. |

This apartment, La Strelitzia, comprises of 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 4 people. There is a bedroom with a double bed, and a large bedroom/living room that contains 2 single beds. There is plenty of hanging and storage space. The apartment is equipped with extra blankets for cooler nights. The kitchen is compact but adequately equipped with cupboards, refrigerator, gas hob. 2 dining tables and enough chairs are provided for eating either inside or on the terrace which has a splendid sea-view. The apartment is provided with a bathrooms with WC and shower and has ceramic tiled floors throughout. |

Notes on accommodation
Cot, towels for the bath are available for hire. If needed, central heating is available, charged according to the consumption. Barbecue available on request. The apartment has no airconditioning because there is always a beautiful breeze coming up from the sea.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchairs because of the stairs.
Outside
All the area is fitted with deck chairs and sunbeds and umbrellas. Among the trees nice and quiet corners invite you for relaxing and recovery.
Coast/Beach
20 minutes walk to the beach. The beach 'La Chiaia' is free and sandy, suitable for children, very safe.
Travel
Upon arrival at Naples airport, you will need to get to the harbour - Molo Beverello/Porta di Massa, where there is a frequent ferry and hydrofoil service to Ischia. Depending upon your time of arrival at the airport, you can catch the ALIBUS to the harbour (which is cheap and takes about 30 mins) or take a taxi. At Molo Beverello, you can take an aliscafo or a traghetto from the pier "Calata porta di Massa" to Ischia Porto at the north-eastern end of the island.
Distances
Downtown Forio and harbour are at 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus. Bus stop outside our drive-in. Supermarket with home delivery at 500 metres: Restaurants at a few steps.
Further details
Forio: The largest town on the island, Forio is full of interesting shops, excellent restaurants and numerous pavement cafes where you can sit and watch the world pass by over a coffee, aperitif or ice cream. There is a daily market and several good bookshops - W H Auden spent much of his time here, as did Henrik Ibsen and others. The town has a picturesque harbour full of fishing and sailing boats from where you can catch the hydrofoil to Naples or round-the-island pleasure trips.

About the owner
I am Giuseppe and I was born and grew up in this beautiful Mediterranean town: Forio, on the western coast of the island of Ischia, in the gulf of Naples.
On the western side of the island are the most fabulous sandy beaches which are reachable or by walking in 15 - 20 minutes or by bus. A couple of very good restaurants are on a walking distance and same for the supermarket which is only at a few steps away.
