This apartment comprises two bed rooms and can sleep up to 5 people. There is a living room and two large double bedrooms opening onto a large beautiful sea-view balcony, and can accommodate another single bed if required. Both bedrooms have plenty of hanging and storage space and are equipped with extra blankets for cooler nights. The kitchen is compact but adequately equipped with cupboards, refrigerator, gas hob. Dining tables and enough chairs are provided for eating either inside or on the sea-view balcony. The apartment is provided with two bathrooms with showers and has ceramic tiled floors throughout. |

This apartment comprises of 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 4 people. There is a bedroom with a double bed, and a large bed/living room that contains 2 single beds. This apartment is composed of the master bedroom with a double bed, a second large bedroom which can accommodate a double bed and 2 or 3 single beds, 2 bathrooms, a living area and a wonderful seaview covered terrace and balcony where can have your meals alfresco. The kitchen is compact but adequately equipped with cupboards, refrigerators, gas hob and oven. 2 dining tables and enough chairs are provided for eating either inside or on the terrace. Notes on accommodation
Cot, towels for the bath are available for hire. If needed, central heating is available, charged according to the consumption. Barbecue available on request. The apartment has no airconditioning because there is always a beautiful breeze coming up from the sea.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchairs because of the stairs.
Outside
Amongst the trees there is a swimming pool filled with natural spring water and a jacuzzi, as well filled with natural spring water of between 35°C - 37°C. All the area is fitted with deck chairs and sunbeds and umbrella; nice and quiet corners invite you for relax and recovery.
Coast/Beach
20 minutes walk to the beach. The beach 'La Chiaia' is free and sandy, suitable for children, very safe.
Travel
Upon arrival at Naples airport, you will need to get to the harbour - Molo Beverello, where there is a frequent ferry (traghetto) and hydrofoil (aliscafo) service to Ischia. Depending upon your time of arrival at the airport, you can catch either the 3S bus or the new ALIBUS to the harbour (which is cheap and takes about 30 mins) or take a taxi. At Molo Beverello, you can take an aliscafo or a traghetto to Ischia Porto at the north-eastern end of the island.
Distances
Downtown Forio and harbour are at 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus. Bus stop outside our drive-in.
Further details
Forio: The largest town on the island, Forio is full of interesting shops, excellent restaurants and numerous pavement cafes where you can sit and watch the world pass by over a coffee, aperitif or ice cream. There is a daily market and several good bookshops - W H Auden spent much of his time here, as did Henrik Ibsen and others. The town has a picturesque harbour full of fishing and sailing boats from where you can catch the hydrofoil to Naples or round-the-island pleasure trips.
