Our hotel is Albergo Il Castello. Here in the historic heart of Castellabate you will find our 17th century family run hotel offering peace, tranquillity and delightful views. We have 12 rooms which are simply furnished in period style with white cotton curtains and original majolica tiles, giving a cool, light and airy atmosphere. Most bedrooms have either generously sized terraces or balconies. In the morning you can take breakfast on the bougainvillea covered terraces which have stunning views overlooking the valley. In the evening for a set price, we can cook a feast for you, consisting of several courses all freshly and traditionally prepared (see trip advisor web site for reviews) or you can choose from a good selection of local restaurants. You can reach a variety of unspoilt glorious golden sandy beaches, coves and inlets and the adjoining beach towns of San Marco and Santa Maria within 5 minutes by transport or 25 minutes by foot.

Coast/Beach
You can reach a variety of unspoilt glorious golden sandy beaches, coves and inlets and the adjoining beach towns of San Marco and Santa Maria within 5 minutes by transport or 25 minutes by foot. For many consecutive years we have been awarded the blue flag in recognition of clear waters and clean beaches. Come and visit us at the lesser known Cilento coast, only 1 hour from the Amalfi coast.

Travel
Getting here
On request, we can arrange transfers between Naples airport and the hotel.
A charge will be made according to the number of people travelling. Journey time is around 1.5 hours.
Please notify us at least 7 days in advance of arrival if you require us to arrange a transfer.
From Naples you can take the train to Agropoli which is 15km from Castellabate.
Cars can be hired from Naples airport. Naples from Castellabate is roughly 120 km.
