This fabulous converted farmhouse hugs the hillside of the Pratomagno close to Loro Ciuffenna and has stunning views of the Valdarno valley, the hills opposite and the village below. Its owners using traditional materials including chestnut beams and tiled floors throughout have lovingly restored the house originally a country farm. The farm has been split into 3 apartments. The decor and furnishings reflect the talents of the owner who has combined Tuscan beams and modern touches to create a comfortable interior that suits the rustic atmosphere of this lovely house perfectly.

Changeover day
We hire Saturday to Saturday please depart by 11am and arrive 3pm. We are happy to discuss any other arrival days if your flights are outside Sat - Sat.

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have central heating. Both apartments are suitable for children. The ground floor is perfect for large parties or two families travelling together as it can be separated or joined to above first floor apartment by internal door.
Accessibility
We do not have disabled facilities but the ground floor is suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
Outside the apartment has a large terrace for car parking alfresco dining, There is also another area to park off the main road. There is a small walled garden to the side of the property plenty big enough to play, Large barbecue, covered patio for alfresco dining or just shade, We have sun loungers and garden furniture. The garden also has a grape vine, fig tree and apple tree. No pool.

Coast/Beach
We are located in the centre of Tuscany between Arezzo and Florence, so you are 1 1/2 hours from the coast.
Golf
I dont play but there are a few courses within 20 minutes from the apartments.

Travel
Pisa Airport allow 2 hours to apartment and from apartment to Pisa airport. However my average time is 1 1/2 hours.
Bologna Airport 2.1/2 hours.
We recommend car hire - its not essential as there is a bus service but we have never used it and there for can not comment.
Distances
Nearest village Campogialli small bar/alimentary (shop) - walk down road directly in front of apartment 5 minutes walk.
The following distance by car - Loro Ciuffena 10 minutes. Arezzo 20 minutes. Chianti/Grevi/Rada in Chianti 30 minutes. Florence 30 mins. Lake Trasimeno 45 minutes. Sienna 40/45 minutes. Rome 2.5 hours.
Further details
San Giustino nearest village 5 minutes walk, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bank, pharmacy. Various shops. All you need.

About the owner
I own a bicycle shop and mail order business and use the apartment as a place to relax and exercise - great location for cycling as the apartments sit on the Great Settaponti road.
I have lots of family that live locally you may meet some of them we are all very friendly.

Few words from the owner.
My apartment is perfectly placed in the heart of Tuscany
for exploring small villages or the great cities of Italy.
I recommend visits to local Vineyards for Wine tasting, Walking as the apartment sits directly under the pratomagno mountains, Artists have also rented who come here for the scenery to paint the sun flowers poppies or vine yards, Cooks come here to taste new dishes and buy the produce locally to cook in the apartment.
Unique benefits of the property
I like to go there to get away from the stresses of business and if alone love nothing more than to sit and read.
The restaurants near by are very reasonably priced and all serve fantastic food whilst were on holiday we like to eat out most days however the local supermarkets also serve hot and cold dishes on their deli counter.
The house sits on the Setteponti Road (famous for Italian racing bicycle teams) the road winds from Florence to Arezzo relatively traffic free, I have used my apartment for winter cycle training and summer holidays for my family.
My family live in the village of Loro Ciuffenna. They have all previously lived in England and speak both Languages fluently, my father lives ten minutes away call him for advice and help if needed.
