This well established Anglo/Italian family home in the Salerno area, Italy, offers 3 modern, comfortably, air conditioned, self-contained apartments. An ideal base for those who wish to explore the historic and cultural interests of this part of Italy, as well as being on the Cilento coast, where the blue flag has been awarded for its clean seas. Surrounded by the natural beauty of vineyards, local fruit and olive trees. In walking distance to the sea and small fishing village of San Marco.

Changeover day
Changeover day Saturday in July and August other times flexible. Arrival time after 1pm. Departure 10.30am.
Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is also heating electricity is paid apart by meter.
Towels and linen are provided at an extra charge of €7.00 per person and changed once a week. Cleaning is made on changeover, however if wanted extra cleaning can bed made during your stay at an extra cost.
Outside
Surrounding the apartments is a landscape garden featuring local fruit and olive trees and vegetables. In the grounds there is shaded parking, and a gazebo. You can go onto the roof and find the solaruim where you can enjoy a drink or barbeque as it is equipped with table, 6 chairs, 4 sun beds and barbeque. From here you can see the sea and upto the medieval village of Castellabate.
Coast/Beach
The sea is 10 minutes walk away or 2 minutes by car. Private parking by sea is provided. You can enjoy beautiful sandy beaches that lay between San Marco and Santa Maria or explore the more quieter rocky beaches and coves towards Lecosia. San Marco itself is a small fishing village and boasts a small port mooring many fishing vessels, and in the summer months yachts and leisure boats.
Special interest holidays
Horse riding. How about going trekking into the National Park area or along the beach western style?. This is the way to see the country side. Deep sea diving where you can see the sunken Greek town. Go on a fishing excursion with local fishermen.
Travel
The nearest Airport in Naples which is 1.5 hours away by car. Trains can be caught from Naples to Agropoli station and run about every hour. There is also a good bus service. However car hire is a good idea but not essential.Pick Up from the airport or train station can be arranged at a small charge.

The nearest village is San Marco 10 minutes walk and 5 minutes to nearest Supermaket. Next village Santa Maria 5 minutes by car. Agropoli town 20 minutes by car. Important places to visit: Velia 37km. Palinuro 63km. Grotte di Pertosa 90km. Paestum 21km. Salerno 63km. Amalfi coast 85km
Pompei 95km. National Park.

There are many shops, bars and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Local activities : windsurfing, snorkeling, fishing, scuba-diving, sailing, canoeing, swimming, boat hire and trips, tennis, horse riding, go-cart, roller blading, walking and biking.
