Bedroom 1 with double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of draws, wardrobe, 2 chairs and mirror. This room has french windows onto balcony overlooking the olive groves.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, and side table, wardrobe, bedside lights and 2 chairs. With french windows onto large balcony over looking the sea.
One bathroom consisting of sink, bidet, WC, shower and basin.
Kitchen/living room, air conditioned, with table, 6 chairs, divan bed, digital TV, fridge, fridge freezer, electric oven, 4 gas hobs, sink and drainer, and extra cupboards. The kitchen is fully equipped with china, cutlery etc. washing machine available outside with other apartments. The kitchen has french doors which open onto large balcony over looking the olive groves. The living room has french doors onto large balcony over looking the sea and land.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, electric oven, fridge. Washing machine is outside with other apartments. With french doors that open onto large balcony overlooking land and sea. Out side on terrace table with 4 chairs.

 

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is also heating electricity is paid apart by meter. Towels and linen are provided at an extra charge of €10.00 per person and changed once a week. Cleaning is made on changeover, however if wanted extra cleaning can be made during your stay at an extra cost. A damage deposit is asked for on arrival of €200,00 for larger apartments and €100,00 for the smaller ones, this will be given back at end of stay. Also internet will be credited to your apartment if used and paid for at end of stay.

Accessibility
The apartments are not suitable for wheelchairs as there is not much space to get into bathrooms etc. The 2 bedroom apartments are on the first floor so there are about 10 steps up to them. The one bedroom apartments are on the ground floor so there is only one step into the apartments

Outside
Surrounding the apartments is a 7000,sq meters of land featuring local fruit and olive groves . In the grounds there is shaded parking, . You can sit out on the large balconies or terrace and here you can enjoy a drink or barbecue. From here you can see the sea and over the olive groves up to the hill of Castellabate.

Coast/Beach
The sea is 2 minutes walk away 200 mts. No Car is needed to go to the sea so no parking tickets to buy. You can enjoy beautiful sandy beaches that lay between San Marco and Santa Maria or explore the more quieter rocky beaches and coves towards Lecosia. San Marco itself is a small fishing village and boasts a small port mooring many fishing vessels, and in the summer months yachts and leisure boats.

Special interest holidays
Horse riding. How about going trekking into the National Park area or along the beach western style?. This is the way to see the country side. Deep sea diving where you can see the sunken Greek town. Go on a fishing excursion with local fishermen. Sailing or windsurfing is available in the season from the port. Rambling over the mountains in the national Park is lovely there are such breathtaking views. Maybe you would like to visit all our historical interests such as Paestum, Pompei, Velia, Castellabate, etc.

Travel
The nearest Airport in Naples which is 1.5 hours away by car. Trains can be caught from Naples to Agropoli station and run about every hour. There is also a good bus service. However car hire is a good idea but not essential. Pick Up from the airport or train station can be arranged at a small charge.
Boats go to Naples, Capri, Amalfi coast and Palinura from the port of San Marco from 15 July to 15 September.

Distances
The nearest village is San Marco 5 minutes walk and 2 minutes to nearest minimaket. Next village Santa Maria 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walk over the sand. Agropoli town 20 minutes by car. Important places to visit: Velia 37km. Palinuro 63km. Grotte di Pertosa 90km. Paestum 21km. Salerno 63km. Amalfi coast 85km. Pompei 95km. National Park.

Further details
There are many shops, bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Local activities: windsurfing, snorkeling, fishing, scuba-diving, sailing, canoeing, swimming, boat hire and trips, tennis, horse riding, go-cart, roller blading, walking and biking.

Booking notes
A booking form will be sent with bank details for deposit and payment. This can be done in Euro or in English pounds. On arrival a deposit of 100 euros will be asked for in case of damages but will be given back on departure.

I am English and have been married to a local Italian man for 29 years. We have lived in Italy for 28 years, first in the north for 15 years and now down here in San Marco for about another 15 years. We have 2 adult children. Before we owned a family Hotel in the north of Italy

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought 7000, sq.mts of land years ago and now are building on it. We want have built 5 apartments to rent by the sea. The land is ideally 200 mts from the beach. This beach is sandy and stretches from San Marco to Santa Maria, it can be easily walked and takes about 15 minutes. The House is in an ideal area easy access to the beach ideal for children and near the village for local shops bars and restaurants.
