The country house is very peaceful and quiet. It includes a large garden with grass and large trees and a 12m x 5m swimming pool. Additional external oven and backgarden also provided. A large external pergola grants outdoors lunches and dinners for up to 12 people. It is close to the best sea (Argentario) but also to Siena (1h) or Saturnia spa (40 mn).

Further details
Apart from the sea, the location grants several attractions. There are traditional and delicious restaurants: you can have an excellent tuscan cuisine for 10 to 20 €. Ristorante le Mandorlaie, Ristarante c'era una volta l'Andrei, Ristorante da Sandra, Ristorante le Querciolaie are some examples. They are all 10 to 20 mn driving. You can also enjoy famous Saturnia spa (30 mn), or shopping in local markets. You can visit famous villages like Capalbio, Pitigliano, Magliano in Toscana or reach Siena (1h) for a daytrip. Also you can spend one day in Rome which is just 2h distant (no traffic jam apart weekends). Finally there are several place for horseriding.
If you need supermarkets, Grosseto is just 15 mn driving distant. There you can find all services, including train station and all types of shops. Grosseto historical center and its dome are worth a visit too. Francesco and Alessandra, the owners of the house, will be there to give the right suggestions. It's definitely the right place to visit and enjoy southern Tuscany, its sea and its history.
Booking notes
To book the house a 30% deposit by bank transfer. The balance will be settled together with the delivery of the keys. The owners ask for 500 € deposit that will be returned at the end of the journey. An agreed rental contract will be signed at the time of the booking.

About the owner
Francesco and Alessandra are Maremma enthusiasts. They bought this house 10 years ago and fully restructured it respecting traditional Maremma features. They recently bought another larger house 1 km distant) and started renting the old one (they are still very attached to it).

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Maremma is one of the most preserved places in Tuscany. It is the ideal combination of wonderful sea, vineyards, historical villages and cities and hilly countryside. It is the right place to find peace if you need it. It is still very fidelis to its rural soul, much more than Chianti. Wines are excellent and much cheaper than Siena / Chianti ones.
Unique benefits of the property
One of the very few places combining full peace with private pool and garden, closeness of wonderful sea and plenty of amenities. It a house made to suit owners needs, so including every comfort, without economies. Therefore prices are very convenient, especially if you come in 6 or 8.
