Built in the XIX century, the trullo Masseria Rosa, a beautiful example of a masseria (farmhouse) particular to this region. It is set amongst olive groves, cherry orchards, other fruit trees and gardens. The property is formed by few units villa, garden with a pergola, gazebo, BBQ, Pool area with stone solarium and carved in the rock. Each unit sleeps 2/6 people. The pool (16 x 6 mtrs/deep; 1.00 - 1.80 mt/depth) with hydro-massage is carved in the rock with views of the estate. Each trullo is elegantly furnished, have comfortable bathroom and kitchen corner. There are also TV, central heating and fridge-bar. The Masseria’s clients can also take advantage of the Restaurant in the Historical center, a very nice and typical genuine.

For group size of 6 - The accomodation is in Confort Trulli Apartment. That means two separated bedrooms, sofa-bed in living room, central cone with living room/cooking corner, one bathroom with shower.
For group size of 4 - The accomodation is in Family Confort Trulli Apartment. That means just one bedroom, confortable sofa-bed matrimonial, cooking corner, one bathroom with shower.
Outside
Acres cherry orchard surrounds the trullo. It is set amongst olive groves, other fruit trees and vegetable gardens.
It has a large 'aia', which is a stone threshing floor, now a place to sit and enjoy the scenery.
There is also a garden with a pergola and gazebo and a BBQ area. The pool (16 x 6 mtrs/deep; 1,00 - 1,80 mt/depth) with hydro-massage is carved in the rock with views of the estate.
Golf
Just 10-15 min. drive to the “San Domenico Golf” course which lies near the small fisherman village of Savelletri, with its southern boundary as close to the sea as the road and rocky coastline will allow. To the north are the olive groves and agricultural fields the site was once part of. The formerly flat and featureless land is now a challenging 18 hole golf course which offers an unforgettable experience for visitors and superb view of the Adriatic Sea from every tee, green and fairway.

Further details
The virtually undiscovered region is rural with historic towns perched on the top of the many hills, painted white to reflect the glistening sun. Puglia is Italy’s largest olive oil producing region with olive trees in every garden it is easy to see why. Every town has a market day selling locally produced goods from fresh fruit and veg, to clothes and shoes, a bargain to be found by all. The sun in July/August can be very strong, but with the weather being pleasant from May through to October there is plenty of time to explore this beautiful region.
Alberobello is an historic town made up with over a thousand 'trulli', a small cylindrical building that peasants built hundreds of years ago to avoid paying taxes, now a popular tourist attraction. At just 5km away with its many restaurants that are open all year round, it is within easy reach. In late September they hold a large festival where the whole town comes alive for 4 days with street markets, a fun fair and religious processions.
Booking notes
Bookings can be secured and confirmed with a 30% non refundable deposit, an other 30% must be paid 6 weeks prior to the start of rental period.
Balance is due cash at the beginning of holiday after the check-in with the manager/owner, if you are not able to pay cash please pay by bank transfer the total amount before your arrival (cheques and travellers cheque are not allowed).
A security deposit of € 100 is required before commencing your holiday to cover breakages/damage etc.

We had a great time in your Masseria, our Trullo was lovely and very comfortable and well-equipped and made the perfect base for our holiday in Puglia. I must admit we spent a number of days just lazing around the pool and into the Jacuzzi, as it was so pleasant.
