On the fifth floor, with large windows and balcony, this apartment is light and airy. It is also quiet, being in the traffic limited area of Florence. It is comprised of a well equipped kitchen, sitting/dining room, spacious master bedroom and smaller open plan bedroom. Due to this difference in private space it is more suited to a family than to two couples. There is a large bathroom with bath and also a small wc. It is within easy walking distance of all the major monuments and 10 minutes walk from coach and train stations thus convenient for day trips in Tuscany to other cities in Italy (Rome is an hour and a half by train!). The kitchen is provided with basic supplies so you do not have to race straight out to the shops for salt and washing up liquid.

Not very suitable for small children due to central marble stairs and more suited to a family as second bedroom is open plan.
