Notes on accommodation
The apartment has 2 parking spaces. Heating is provided with an extra cost during the winter months Nov-March.
Air-conditioning is free.
The main mountain road runs just in front of the apartment which means it is easy to access both mountains and lake by car or take the bus or ferry from the village just a short walk from your home.
Accessibility
The property is not designed for people with mobility problems as it is on 2 levels.

The apartment has 3 sunny balconies, a terrace with table and 7 chairs, garden with 6 seater Jacuzzi hot tub, barbecue, 2 sunbeds.
Coast/Beach
2 min drive to small local beach beside pizzeria that rents sunbeds etc. Plenty of other beaches all within 15 min drive along the lake. 10 min drive to pool (lido) in Cadenabbia with bar and food all day. 15 min drive to the Lido di Menaggio, new pool by the lake.
Golf
The Lake Como region has 10 golf courses. The famous and historical golf club of Menaggio is only a 15 min drive away. Lanzo golf course is at approx 10Km from the property.
Skiing
The ski resort is of Madessimo is approx 75 mins away by car and boasts numerous runs to suit all levels of skier. Ski during the day and be back in time for dinner that evening.
Travel
Milan Linate: 1 hour. Milan Malpensa: 40 mins. Milan Bergamo: 1.5 hrs. All airports have rail links to Milan. Trains run frequently to Como town from Milan with regular bus service to Argegno. Car hire recommended as their is so much to see.
Distances
Monza: 40 mins. Como town: 20 mins. Laglio (home village of George Clooney): 5 mins drive. Lake Lugano and Switzerland are only 30 mins away with fantastic mountain drives. 10 min drive to the enchanting Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo or the wonderful Villa del Balbianello in Lenno.

We are located about 5 mins away from the village centre, with narrow cobbled lanes and archways, the local panifico with aromas of freshly baked bread and a beautiful Piazzo where you can get fantastic ice cream made on the premises at Zoë’s. The village has a small mini market to provide you with all the basics .There is a bank with international cash machine, a small harbour with marina, fishing tackle shop, cable-car station ,to take you into the mountains to the village of Pigra where you can have the experience of Como from the sky (cable car).The village has it own pebble beach with an adjoining pizzeria where you can hire sun loungers etc. or fish to your hearts content. There is a small food market in Argegno on Monday mornings where you can get fresh meat, fish veg and locally produced cheeses. There are numerous small bars in the village and a fantastic selection of restaurants and snack bars and in the surrounding areas .Café Colombo is a tiny beautiful wine bar in the corner of the square with Italian 'tapas' and snacks available all day and a great Happy Hour at night. .There is a new restaurant, recently opened in the village piazzo beside the fountain, which serves a wide selection of food from pizza to fine dining i.e. fresh tuna tar. Others restaurants we recommend are, Villa Belvedere, beside the ferry port, restauranti Barchetta,and Crotto dei Platini (3 mins down the road towards Brienno). A delightful new wine bar Enotica Argegno is only recently opened with a fantastic range of good wines available very cheaply. This also serves free antipasti in the evening.There is a pub called Il Covo which stays open till late and is a popular destination for the younger generations.
