The villa faces the sea front and is set in a private estate located in Contrada Mazzaforno, 5km from Cefalu centre. There is a communal swimming pool that is open from the 1 July to 30 August. Well spaced semi-detached villa, built of sandstone, bordering the coast within walking distance (5 min) from the beach. Ground floor with large lounge, kitchen/dining, wc. 1st floor with 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Basement with 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom with bunk beds and two bathrooms.

Le Madonie Golf Resort is located between the Madonie Mountains Park and the gulf of Cefalu, The international standard 18 holes golf course is equipped with a putting green, a pitching green, a chipping green and a driving range with 26 teeing places, 7 of which covered. The par 72 golf course designed by the well-known Luigi Rota Caremoli extends to 6.004 meters. The pleasant layout, containing 5 artificial lakes, a diffuse presence of bunkers, the unusual rough characteristics and more than 3.000 olive trees, a mix of 2.000 orange and lemon plants and about 100 carob trees, make it quite a challenging experience for every player.
The golf course is 20 minutes drive from the Villa, just follows the national road SS. 113 direction Palermo and get out at the km 201,5 direction Campofelice di Roccella/Collesano, following the white signs 'Le Madonie Golf Club' (11km distance from the Highway exit).
Travel
90km from Palermo international airport 'Falcone and Borsellino'. Ryanair and Easyjet fly daily to Palermo from London Stansted and London Gatwick. Ryanair also flies to Trapani Birgi airport from London Stansted. Trapani Brigi is 150 km from Cefalu. When arrived in Palermo or Trapani international airport follows direction towards Palermo and take the motorway Palermo-Catania. Follow directions for Messina, Exit Cefalu.

Piazza Duomo (Cathedral Square) , Cefalu Cathedral and the Cloister. The Cathedral was builtin 1131 on the order of Norman King Roger II, the first King of Sicily. Its beauty is due to the combination of various elements: the genius and originality of the architects and the Moslem craftsmen, the refine Byzantine art of painting and mosaics, the influence of the normal culture and architecture. The Mandralisca Museum containing the portrait of an unknown man by Antonello da Messina.
Cefalu is also one hour drive from Palermo and Monreale with more cathedrals, churches, palaces to visit.

To secure the villa a 50% deposit is required that will be refunded if cancellation are made within one month from the date of booking. After one month no more refund will be allowed. Full payment of the sum is required one month prior to departure.

I have been living in the UK since 1996 and every year we spend our summer holidays in Cefalu. We rent the house in order to cover the mortgage expenses. Longer rents are preferred to short term rent and discount will be applied. This house is perfect for families who want to spent weeks discovering the charm of the sea around Cefalu.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I fell in love straight away with the coast and the water in front of the house. It is called "settefrati". The stacks sticking up out of the water are part of a legend about a beatiful women who was abducted here. The seven stacks are said to be her seven brothers, who tried to rescue her and were turned into stone.
