Casa Agave is a newly renovated modern apartment in the heart of the Ortigia Historical Center of Siracusa. Located centrally down the street from the Siracusa Opera house, the Ortigia Duomo(Cathedral /Ancient Temple of Athena) and just steps away from breath-taking sea views and swimming spots. The Ortigia Outdoor Food Market, a short walk away, has the freshest offering of locally sourced fish, vegetables and fruits.

Changeover day
Apartment Check-in and Check-out Days are flexible. Check-ins should take place between 9am-5pm on arrival day. Check-outs no later than 11am on departure day. Special arrangement can be accommodated if notified in advance.

Rooms at Casa Agave can be rented on a per room basis to suit your group's needs -or- the entire apartment can be reserved privately with a minimum rental of 3 rooms for the requested rental period. See rental pricing information for further details. Please note that rental prices can vary during holiday periods such as New Years, Christmas, and Easter.

During your stay at Casa Agave, we can organize a number of "local life" experiences to enrich your holiday experience such as: cooking classes and market tours, wine tastings and winery tours, sailing and scuba diving, hiking/climbing/cycling adventures, private guided tours, language classes and arts workshops.
Travel
Ortigia is located about 15 minutes from the Syracuse Train Station. The Catania International Airport is 30 minutes away. There is a public bus service directly to Syracuse from the Catania Aiport. We can book a private transport for airport pick-ups to drop you off at Casa AgaVe directly.
Distances
The following areas area easily accessible from Siracusa:Noto = 30 minutes. Modica = 75 minutes. Ragusa = 90 minutes. Catania = 45 minutes. Mt. Etna = 75 minutes.
Booking notes
50% deposit of total costs(in Euros) to hold reservations by Pay Pal or Bank Wire. Remaining rental balance + security deposit (amount based on number of rooms rented + duration of stay / fully refunded at check-out unless any damages) is due upon arrival paid in cash (in Euros). Cancellation policy: 100% refund (45+ days prior to arrival) - 50% refund (30-44 days prior to arrival) - no refunds (within 30 days of arrival). All refunds are minus any transaction fees.

Directed inner-city education programs in Los Angeles at LACMA. Fell in love with Siracusa. Met my Sicilian wife and have lived here ever since (8 years ago), raising our two children.
