Once the old stables and hay loft of the adjoining cottage this house has been owned by the same family for many years, the current owners were born in the adjacent property. The property has been well maintained but still retains its older property charm. Situated in the village of Sessame which is well known locally as an area of production of Brachetto wine a light red sparkling wine. It is easily accessible and a few minutes from the main towns of Acqui Terme and Nizza Monferrato.

Casa Egle is a traditional Italian house which has been in the same family for many years. Set in a peaceful wine producing village it is now the family holiday home. It is comprised of two connected parts and has two kitchens, two lounges, two bathrooms and three double bedrooms and a single bedroom.
Accessibility
All bedrooms are on the first floor so it is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
It has a front and back garden which are enclosed with gates making it a secure property for young children. Portico with outside dining furniture.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beaches are aproximately 2 hours by car.
Travel
Car hire is essential. Nearest airports are Genoa and Turin which are about an hour and a half away. Other airports are Milan Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo which are all between 2 and 3 hours travelling distance.
Distances
The famous Spa town of Acqui Terme is a short drive away. The village of Bistagno is about 10 minutes away by car and has a railway station from where you can travel to Savona and Genoa for the day. Turin is about an hour away or you can take a train from Asti which is about half an hour away by car.
Further details
Supermarkets, shops, banks, restaurants can all be found within a 15 minute drive. Piedmont is full of churches and castles and hill top villages and all have something to offer from marvellous views to hidden restaurants and small shops selling local produce, salames, cheeses, cakes and wine. There are swimming pools and golf courses all within easy reach by car. For those that like shopping choose from the markets to the designer shops and of course the designer outlets.
Time your visit to coincide with the numerous pageants and festivals, historic re-enactments, food festivals, truffle hunts, chestnut and hazelnut fairs, barrel rolling races and wine tastings.
Booking notes
To confirm a booking half the rental cost is payable by bank transfer. The remainder to be paid 8 weeks before the holiday. On arrival at accommodation you will be required to pay a security deposit of 100 euro in cash, this will be refunded at the end of your holiday provided there are no damages to the property.
For cancellations up to 8 weeks a refund of 90% of the payment received. After this time refund is at owners discretion.
