Set on the foothills of Mount Etna, Villa Ama offers magnificent views of the azure Ionian sea, enchanting Taormina and of course the spectacular volcano itself. Several beaches are within easy reach while those in search of the architectural gems of Sicily can explore the Baroque marvels of Siracusa, Noto and Ragusa which are just over an hour away, while Taormina with its Greek theatre can be reached in 20 mins. This house is imbued with charm and character, without sacrificing comfort and offers a more rewarding experience to the discerning traveller than your standard rental home. Smaller groups can rent one or two floors only and bed and breakfast accommodation is also available.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the whole property per week in euros. 700 euros breakages deposit. 120 euros weekly cleaning. 100 euro per week per extra bed (max 2) to accommodate up to 12 people. Central heating (if used) of whole villa: 40 euro per day. Air conditioning in living/dining room and top floor bedroom (other bedrooms have electric fans): 100 euro per week if used. Contact us for prices for rental of 1 or 2 floors only for smaller groups (1600-2100 euro per week).
Changeover day
Our changeover day is normally Saturday, arrival time from 4pm, departure time 10am.

| Kitchen: | The kitchen is well equipped with a large new fridge, large gas cooker with 5 burners and double size oven, blender, electric whisk, electric knife, etc. |
| Utility Room: | New washing machine. Please note that the house is not equipped with a dishwasher. |
| Living Rooms: | Very large living/dining room with panoramic views. There is a working fireplace and a TV, DVD, video and CD player. Sofas, dining table, chairs, armchairs. |
| Other: | There is also a study with a library of books, a piano and the possibility of 2 extra single beds to accommodate 12 people. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included. Weekly cleaning is compulsory. |

We welcome children and pets but please note that the house is furnished with antiques and due care must be taken.

The nearest airport is in Catania, called Fontanarossa. The distance from the house is approximately 40km, driving time 45 mins. A car is essential and can be rented at the airport.

Piedimonte Etneo itself is 1km away. Has 2 supermarkets, banks, etc. Taormina is 20 mins away, Siracusa 90 mins drive.

Booking notes
Once clients decide to go ahead and book, we ask for a 30% deposit with the balance payable 64 days prior to arrival.
