Our property is immersed in the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, mid-way between Florence and Siena. It is made of 2 villas Colonica (max 22pax) and Fienile (8 pax),that may be rented together or separately.At your arrival, we will be glad to suggest you the best itineraries to discover the beautiful little towns or villages in the Chianti area. On request, we may book for you the tickets to visit the Uffizi or Accademia museums in Florence, in order to avoid you to queue outside many hours. Guests are free to wander the estate, where there are over 20 acres of private land, ideal for enjoyable walks. Immersed in all this peace and tranquillity, there is our large swimming pool (15x7.5m). The swimming pool overlooks the olive groves and it is placed in an ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying a cooling dip. On request, we may cook for you typical Tuscan dinners. The villa was perfectly restored on 2009 matching together comforts and traditions. Horse riding centre for our guests.

Notes on prices
Prices per Unit 1 (Colonica) apply for the max capacity of 18 to 22 people in the Villa. Groups of less people may contact us for a tailored offer for the villa. Prices per Unit 2 (Fienile) apply for the standard capacity of 8 people.
4 people may rent just half of the Fienile cottage at half price, since the Fienile may also be divided into 2 private apartment assuring full privacy, each one with private garden. Please feel free to contact us for a tailored offer based on your needs! Thanks.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday, however we may be flexible according to the period you are coming. Arrivals are expected on Saturday between 2pm and 7pm. Departures must be on Saturday mornings, by and no later than 10am.

Clonica Villa (Sleeps max 22. 9 Bedrooms)

9 bedrooms (of which 5 double-bedrooms and 4 rooms that can be used as triple-, twin- or double-bedrooms), 10 bathrooms (each one with shower, bidet, wc, basin; one is suitable for handicapped people), 2 large living-dining rooms each one with fireplaces (made of stones) and TVs-sat, and each one with a kitchen-corner equipped with all you need to cook; in addition, there is 1 large kitchen fully equipped with a 4 rings stove, fridge, freezer, dish-washer, microwave, moka (Italian Coffee-Maker),toaster and kettle;next to it there is a diningroom able to sit up to 25 peopl.The rooms don't need air-conditioning since they're very fresh on Summer, due to the particular position of the house. However each bedroom is provided with a fan in order to refresh your days&nights. Private outside space in the garden/park equipped with BBQ and tables and chairs in order to eat or relax open-air.A large swimming pool is at guests' disposal. Horse riding centre reserved to our guests is 2 km far.

Fienile Cottage (Sleeps 8. 4 Bedrooms)

The cottage is made of 4 double bedrooms (of which 2 double-beds may be changed into twin-beds on request). 4 bathrooms (each one fully equipped with shower, WC, bidet and basin). 2 kitchens fully equipped also with: dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, moka, toaster. 2 living-dining rooms with fireplaces and satellite TV. The house is very fresh also on summer so it does not need air conditioning, however we may provide some fans on request, for free. A private outside space in the garden/park equipped with BBQ and tables and chairs in order to eat or relax open-air. At guests' disposal there is also a laundry-room with washing-machine. A large swimming pool is at guests' disposal. Horse riding centre reserved to our guests is 2 km far, we may drive you there for free! Tuscan dinners cooked on request. The Fienile cottage may be rented all together to 8 people , but families of 3-4 people may rent only half of it at a fair price!

Notes on accommodation
The house is very fresh also on summer so it does not need air conditioning, however we may provide some fans on request, for free. Each villa is provided with a modern heating system (heating to be paid according to consumption). Families with children or groups are very welcomed!

Our prices always include water, gas for cooking, electricity, bed-linen, towels for the kitchen, towels for the bathroom and for the swimming pool, final cleanings, one cot or baby-bed (please specify if you need it), one high-chair for baby 0-2 years (please specify if you need it), free use of swimming pool and its facilities like sun-beds, umbrellas, etc., free (safe) parking inside our property, barbecue in our park at our guests disposal, TV-sat in each apartment.

Accessibility
We may provide for people with mobility problems or on wheelchairs a bedroom at groundfloor of Colonica with a bathroom especially designed for them.

Outside
Guests are free to wander the estate, where there are over 20 acres of private land, ideal for enjoyable walks in the country. Immersed in all this peace and tranquillity, well kept gardens with lawns, mature oaks, flowering magnolias and pomegranate bushes surround the villa and the swimming pool (15x7.5m). The swimming pool, perfectly equipped, overlooks the olive groves and it is placed in an ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying a cooling dip. The swimming pool is usually open from 1st May to 30 September. Each villa has its own private outside space in the garden/park equipped with BBQ and tables and chairs in order to eat or relax open-air.

Golf
The nearest Golf Course is 40 minutes driving far. It is the most important Golf Course in Tuscany, called UGOLINO GOLF CLUB, with 18 holes, founded on 1889. Considered one of the most suggestive natural golf course of the world, it has been named among the 50 most beautiful golf courses of the world by the American writer Chris Santella.

Special interest holidays
Cookery courses to learn how to cook some Tuscan dishes and fresh-pastas. September / October you may join us for free to the grape harvest in our farm. November you may join us for free to the olive harvest. We may explain you how wines and olive-oils are made.Horse riding centre reserved to our guests is 2 km far: we may drive you there for free!

Travel
Car is recommended. You may rent it to any airport or train station in Italy. The nearest Airport is the Florence Airport FLR-Amerigo Vespucci, that is 25 minutes driving far. Pisa Airport Galileo Galilei is about 60km far. Our geo-targeting: LAT: 43.649018 – long 11.101422.

Further details
At your arrival, we will be glad to suggest you the best itineraries to discover the most beautiful little towns or villages in the Chianti area. On request, we may book for you for free the tickets to enter in the Uffizi or Accademia museums in Florence, in order to avoid you to queue outside the museums many hours. On your request, we may also organize for you horse-riding walks.
More information on our farm:
20 hectares (about 50 acres) of land belongs to our farm: 5 hectares are vineyards certified “Chianti Colli Fiorentini”. We grow Sangiovese, Merlot and Vermentino grapes; they are changed into our very good Chianti wine in the “Valvirgino” winery ,where we will be glad to drive you for a visit, it is open all the year round. 4 hectares of olive trees certified IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) where different varieties of olives are grown, such as Moraiolo, Leccino, Frantoio, Correggiolo. They are pressed cold within 12 hours from the harvest by the Carmignani Mill located in the village of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, where we take our olives to be changed into extra virgin olive oil. The Carmignani Mill is open to visits from late October to December. 6 hectares of fields for sowing (wheat, sunflowers, etc) 5 hectares of forest plots.
Grape harvest and olives picking.
In a real Chianti farm, as ours, the rhythm of life is following the rhythm of Nature. Each season has its special duties to the farmer. On late summer, usually on September-October, at Podere Le Rondini you may attend one of the most important event of our farm: the grape harvest. Some weeks later (usually on November) another great “show” is on stage:the olives-picking or olives-harvest. On these occasions, you may join us and our workers in order to have a real experience of the local ancient harvest’s techniques.Occasional participation is free: we recommend to wear appropriate clothing, such as jeans and sneakers, or better, boots in rubber. A gift to all participants.

Booking notes
Bookings shall be considered valid under an advanced-payment of 40% of the total amount due. This pre-payment can be made by means of bank transference or by credit card. The total balance is due on arrival to our place. Should the client decide to cancel his booking, the advanced-payment will not be refunded to the client. It is prohibited to transfer the booking to others or to show up in a greater number of persons than those indicated.

Last year I have decided to renovate the whole property and to fully dedicate myself to offer to guests the opportunity to taste the best of my region, Tuscany.
