Climate is very temperate.The villa is very quiet and easy to reach by car because the village of Isola delle Femmine is located 15km from the airport and 10km from the city of Palermo. From the villa it is very easy to reach some of the most important archaeological sites of the island like Segesta and Selinunte. The villa is 5 minutes walking from a natural marine reserve but you can easily access the main sand beach.

Notes on accommodation
The three units are suitable for children, although the closest access to the sea brings to rocks while the sandy beach is one km away from the houses. Towels and linen are included.
Accessibility
Two of the three units are on the ground floor (Casa Isotta and Chalet), but none of the units has special facilities for people with mobility problems.
Outside
it is not possible to arrange barbecues.

It is located 5 min walking from the rock beach while the sand beach is 1km away.

Three holes (Villa Airoldi) in the city of Palermo (30 mins from the property). Eighteen holes in Campofelice (Le Madonie) (1 hour from the property).
Travel
The nearest airport is the Palermo airport (Falcone Borsellino) that is at 15km from the property. The closest channel port is in Palermo, which is at 10km from the property. The metro and the bus can be used to reach the property both from Palermo center and from the airport. Car hiring are available at the airport. Car hire is recommended especially if you want to visit the surroundings, otherwise no.

Further details
Sea food restaurants are quite good in Isola. One of the most well known is 'Trattoria da Franco' of Franco Cardinale. Small pets must be previously agreed with the owners.

Check in time from hr12 to hr18; check out time until hr10.
The booking procedure is through the website and a swift payment of 20% of the entire amount is required at the time of booking. As you arrive, you will be asked to complete the payment adding a deposit of 150 euros that will be returned before departure. Cash payment is required.

About the owner
I am a lawyer living and working in Palermo specialised in civil law. Since 1970 my family owns this property, 30 minutes driving from the city and close to sea.
We bought this property in Isola delle Femmine because it is a charming fishermen village with beautiful beaches, fantastic sea and an excellent seafood restaurants. You can also enjoy shopping at the fish market at the port buying directly from the local fishermen. The location is excellent because Isola is half way between the airport and Palermo.
Since 2000 the area has been declared natural reserve because of the richness of its sea.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Isola delle Femmine is very agreeable place for three very important reasons:
1) It's very near from the town of Palermo.
2) All the units of the villa are located 50m from the sea and the landscape is wonderful, in particular the sunset is spectacular.
3) It's ideal in all seasons because there is a temperate climate.
I think Isola it's a very lovely place.
