The theatre, the Duomo and many other cafes and restaurants are only a couple of minutes' away while the modern centre is only 5 minutes' walk.

We own a private beach 'Bagno Golf' in Tirrenia 15km from Pisa with bar and restaurant. Good for a day trip.

Pisa is the nearest airport 65km. The nearest train station is Fornaci di Barga at 6km. From the station it is possible to reach Barga by taxi.

Inside the historic centre there are many restaurants all good and cheap, In Via di Mezzo a little grocery can solve any problem. A big Leclerc supermarket is in Gallicano at 10km. No problem with bank and ATM. In the main square of the new town close to the restaurant Alpino you can find 6 banks within 50m. An other ATM inside historic centre have beeen activated just in front of the Ristorante Scacciaguai.

Fantastic! The apartment is beautifully presented and exceptionally clean and furnished to a very high standard. The views are gorgeous from each window but especially from the terrace which has an insitu BBQ for outdoor cooking. The apartment is situated in the heart of a medieval town and has all the narrow streets and steep pathways that are part of the environment and add to the charm. With restaurants and bars in the piazza the apartment sits above I found it to be the perfect place for me to explore the Garfagnana region and wouldn't hesitate to go back’
