| Our apartments can sleep 4 persons, 2 persons in the 1 bedroom and 2 persons in the lounge (on a comfortable pull out sofa bed). The apartment consists of 1 bedroom with a large double bed, spacious wardrobes and drawers. The bathroom consists of wc, bidet and large shower and plenty of storage space. The living room/ kitchen is very spacious with table and chairs for dining, large patio doors overlooking the valley. A comfortable sofa which can be used as a double bed. TV, LCD. The kitchen has an oven/cooker, gas hob for cooking, fridge, all cooking utensils and plenty of storage space. There is a large veranda with beautiful views, barbecue and seating/sunbathing area. The apartment is air-conditioned/central heated with washing machine, TV and is fully furnished in typical Gallurese style furniture. | |
Notes on accommodation
All the rooms are leading onto gardens where you can relax and walk and you can also visit our Anglo Arab Sardinian horses who are grazing in the surrounding paddocks and stables. Breakfast is served on the house’s veranda and in winter in the dining area. Breakfast is a typical Italian style breakfast with local products.
Outside
The property is immersed in a beautiful valley surrounded with red rocks sculptured by the wind and typical Mediterranean plants and shrubs. There are plenty of angles where you can relax and admire the views of the Gallurese countryside. There is an illuminated barbecue area with a large granite table overlooking the valley where you can enjoy evening meals/BBQ's and relax. The house has a large terrace with comfortable seating area for relax. There is also a horse farm where you can visit our horses and animals.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a 10 minute drive by car, this is the Saline beach and the area of Porto San Paolo and the beautiful islands of Tavolara and Molara. North Sardinia has fantastic beaches and islands which can be easily reached.
Golf
Puntaldia golf course - 20 minutes by car. Pevero Golf, Porto Cervo - 40 minutes by car.
Special interest holidays
We organize trekking excursions. Sailing and motor boat trips and cruises. Free climbing and climbing excursions. Horse riding.
Travel
The use of a car, motorbike or bike is essential or highly recommeded. We are a 10 minute drive to Olbia airport and ferry port. 1 hour and 50 minutes from Alghero airport and 2 hours from Cagliari airport.
Distances
We are a 5 minute drive to the nearest village, 10 minutes to Olbia town. 15 minutes to Porto San Paolo, 20 minutes to San Teodoro, 20-30 minutes to the Costa Smeralda.
Further details
There are many characteristic restaurants, trattoria’s and farms that offer excellent local cuisine nearby and the area also produces excellent wine.
