The house is harmonious and beautifully decorated. It is located in the medieval village but with all the modern comfort as air conditioning, sat TV, DVD, and internet access. It is perfect for a family or two couples. The layout of the house is as follows: entrance on street level with bathroom and master bedroom. On the same level a room with open fireplace and the kitchen. First floor bathroom, toilet, second bedroom and the living room. From the living room french doors open to the outside dining area. From there up the stairs to the 'cherry on the cake'; the roof terrace (35 m2 ) with a shower and an amazing view!

Accessibility
Apricale is a hilltop village. That means a lot of climbing on narrow streets with stairs and cobbles.
Outside
There is a dining table with 4 chairs on the terrace. The roofterrace on the next level has 4 sunbeds, parasol, little table and a shower. Both terraces facing south
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 12 km from Apricale. In Rochetta Nervia (8 km. from Apricale) is a beautiful clean river with waterfalls and natural pools. And on a hot day very refreshing!
Skiing
The skiing area of Limone is an hour and a half drive from Apricale. There are slopes for beginners and advanced skiers. The little village Limone is lively and elegant with nice bars, shops and some very good restaurants.
Travel
Nice airport 60 km.
Genova airport 170 km.
Ventimiglia trainstation 18 km. From there is a busservice 5 times a day to Apricale.

Dolceacqua 8 km.
Monaco 30 km.
San Remo 25 km.

Further details
Apricale is choosen as the most beautiful hilltop village in Italy in 2005 and 2008. In the Castello della Lucertola are important art exhibitions from wellknown artists as Picasso, Miro, Folon and Louise Bourgeois. But also young talents have the possibility to show their work. Concerts, theatre and dance evenings are organized by the 'comune'. There are two local grocery shops 6 restaurants and 3 bars in town.

About the owner
During a visit to my sister and her husband who lives in Apricale for almost 20 years I had a romantic encounter in the main square in Apricale. That was the beginning of our adventure in Apricale. Arturo lives here for almost 17 years and I for 8 years. Me (Jeanette) a Dutch manager and Arturo an Albanian builder have put together all our skills and opened a Bed & Breakfast, Apricus locanda (IT259). Arturo has built it and I am running it. The success of Apricus made that we wanted to create something more private and luxurious. And there are our luxury townhouses (IT 3376 and IT 4283). Hope you will enjoy them. And there is more to come.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We live in Apricale on the same side as the townhouse. Also our B&B has the same view. The house is light (facing South) and has a stunning almost 360° view. We love the village. It is still very authentic but at the same time the glamorous places as Sanremo and Monaco are so nearby. So we can enjoy the best of both worlds. The sea to have a swim, the river to refresh yourself and the mountains to walk and to ski, it is all there!!
Unique benefits of the property
We created this house specially for our guests. We do have a lot of repeat clients in our B&B who want to stay longer and be able to cook Italian meals with fresh ingredients etc. Because the house is located near a closed parking place, it is easy accessible. As you know Apricale is for pedestrians only that makes it very nice and quiet, but on a hot summers day it is also comfortable when you can get close to your house with your car.
The roof terrace is of course the cherry on the cake. In daytime to sunbathe and at night to watch the stars.
