The flat is in the heart of Palermo, in a picturesque pedestrian area just in front of the Massimo theatre. The street is animated till late by people visiting the numerous handicraft shops, restaurants and pubs. The flat is cosy and includes a living room and an alcove separated by a folding door. There is also a comfortable kitchenette and a nice WC with shower. The flat has been recently renovated and is provided with independent and free air conditioning and heating. The most important monuments and the most beautiful shops are at walking distance. Bus stops are one or two minute-walk.

Coast/Beach
Distances: to coast, 600 m; to the beautiful Mondello beach 6 km. The latter can be reached by bus or coach from the close-by Piazza Politeama (10 minute walk).
Travel
The nearest airport is Palermo Falcone-Borsellino airport, 30 km away. It is well connected to and from town by coach (every 30 min from 6:00 to 23:30). The coach stops in Piazza Politeama, 5 min walk from the apartment. Palermo port is about 2 km away. Car hire is only recommended for trips outside Palermo.
Distances
The flat is very centrally located in Palermo. At walking distance you can find the worldwide famous Massimo theatre (50 m), the Salinas Archeological Museum (50 m), the Politeama theatre and Modern Art Gallery (600 m), Piazza Pretoria with its large fountain and the nearby old Martorana orthodox church, Palermo famous arab-norman Cathedral (1000 m) and the norman Royal Palace with its gorgeous Cappella Palatina (1500 m) just to mention a few among the many nearby places of interest.
Further details
The flat is located just between Palermo posh shopping area (Via Ruggero Settimo and Via Libertà) and the cheaper old shops of Via Maqueda. The open air markets of Via Sant' Agostino and Via Bandiera are at 5 minutes' walk.
Booking notes
Half of the rent is to be paid (by bank transfer or via Paypal) when booking, the other half, plus cleaning expenses (40 euro) on arrival.

"The flat was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and more. The area of the flat was perfect for all amenities to explore the city. The only issue we had was that on the weekend as it is situated very central the noise was emphasised however ideal for couples wishing to experience Sicily."

El apartamento se ajusta perfectamente a su descripción. El lugar donde esta ubicado es el centro mismo de Palermo y en un lugar con restaurantes y zona de ocio. El apartamento esta perfectamente limpio, tiene un acceso sencillo al aeropuerto y por supuesto a todo el casco histórico. Los propietarios son personas muy amables y facilitadoras. Ideal para una pareja.
