It is around 35 minutes to the Adriatic coast and nearest beaches and 1 hour 15 minutes from Ancona airport . Several places of interest are withing easy reach: Urbino - 40 minutes, Assisi - 1 hour, Jesi 30 minutes, Bologna 1 hour 30 minutes, Perugia 1 hour 30 minutes. Sibillini mountains 30 minutes. This is a wonderful base to explore the real Italy. Ideal for walking, cycling, touring & relaxing!

The house is suitable for children. The pool is on a separate level and is fenced for safety.
Accessibility
This property is not recommended for those with mobility problems as it is on 3 floors with a lot of stairs.
Outside
Outside there is a garden, large terrace to the rear of the property with panoramic views exterior furniture for al fresco dining. There is a separate terrace with steps leading to a private pool (3m x 5m) for sole use of the guests. Pool has lighting for night swimming and is fenced for safety.
Coast/Beach
The Adriatic coast is around 35 minutes drive from the property. The nearest beach is Marotta.
The beautiful Senigallia beach with is wonderful fine golden sand is around 45 minutes by car. Makes a fabulous day trip.
Skiing
Skiing is available in the Sibillini mountains around 1 hour away.

Nearest airport is Ancona 1 hour drive away.
Bologna-Forli airport is around 1 hour 45 minutes.

Booking notes
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the property. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment can be made either in Euros or UK Pounds to a British bank account.
A fully refundable breakage deposit of £250 is also required.

About the owner
I am from sussex but now live with my husband and 2 young sons in the Algarve in Portugal. We bought the house as a holiday home in 2003. My in-laws have had a farmhouse in the area for many years, and we had visited many, many times including living there in 2001 for 9 months.
We really fell in love with the area, the scenery, the culture, people and of course the food!
The house was in it's original state when we bought it and had not been lived in for several years. The renovation took nearly 2 years and included making the "animal shelter / cowshed" on the lower ground floor into a modern open plan living/dining room and kitchen.
Le Marche really is a special place. As soon as we arrive, the feeling of relaxation is immediate.
I hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do!
