About the owner
I think that the best way to talk about our family is to reproduce a review that one of our guests wrote for us: “This was an unexpected discovery and we are so glad to find Casale San Bartolomeo. Gabriele and Anna are wonderful hosts. They are warm and inviting people, and it was delightful to meet them and enjoy their family and wonderful agriturismo. There is an added treat of Gabriele's cooking class and an optional evening dinner, both were fantastic, and we could relax and settle in after a day of touring....”

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
Who has not, at least once in his life, thought "I wish I could leave this crazy city life behind and move to the country"? Our family has been lucky enough to do it for real. After years of battling traffic and city smog, we were persuaded that the time had come to return to the simple, genuine pleasures of nature and the saner rhythm of a more rural life. And so, we sold our city apartment and began looking for our own paradise. After months of searching, we happened upon the charming old casale San Bartolomeo. It was love at first sight! We decided to buy it and make San Bartolomeo our country refuge.

Unique benefits of the property

At our Farmhouse our guests become part of an Italian family and enjoy nature and the pleasures of life lived slowly. Our aim is to share with you the traditions characteristic of this land in the heart of Italy. We recognize food as a language that expresses our cultural heritage. Our aim is to preserve the myriad traditions of our table and culture.
