Situated on the western shore about 12kms up the lake, on the quieter lake road, Laglio is one of the most beautiful villages on Lake Como. The village itself has a bar, several restaurants and shops, including a post office and deli. Regina Residence is a beautiful, converted metal mill on the edge of Lake Como that has been split into a small number of apartments. The ground floor corner apartment is newly converted and has the added benefit of having the largest garden of Regina Residence, facing the sun all day! The luxury apartment has a large double bedroom and another large bedroom that can be set as a double or twin. The fully equipped, bespoke granite kitchen has an adjourning dining and lounge area with large French doors opening directly out onto the garden, a 32 inch flat screen TV with Sky and a Hi-Fi/DVD player. Regina Residence is securely gated and has a private, underground garage with lift access. The apartment is suitable for children and for the elderly.

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Normal rental period 7 nights, Sat to Sat, however we are more than happy to offer different changeover days and rental periods if available. Discounts also available for breaks longer than 2 weeks - please contact the owner with any queries.

Accessibility
Ground floor, with lift access from the road/lake, so no stairs to climb! Secure gated underground parking (also with lift access). Suitable for children and the elderly.
Outside
This is a corner apartment, with the garden wrapping around the south and east sides of the apartment, giving you access to the sun all day long with beautiful lake views! Outdoor teak dining table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is a stone's throw from the lake! Laglio has several small 'beaches' giving you direct access to the lake. The nearby villages of Moltrasio and Lenno have lakeside lido's for further direct access to the lake.
Golf
Menaggio Golf Club approximately 25kms away.
Skiing
The apartment is convenient for the Italian ski resort of Madesimo (approx 2 hours away) as well as St Moritz in Switzerland (2.5 hours drive).
Travel
Milan Malpensa is approximately 50 minutes away. The other Milan airports of Linate and Bergamo are just over an hour away.
Distances
Cernobbio, with some lovely little shops, waterfront bars and hotels is approximately 8kms away. The main large town of Como itself is 14km away.
Further details
Laglio has 3 restaurants, 3 hotels and several shops including a deli, a post office and a bar. The nearby towns of Carate Urio and Cernobbio have a lake ferry stop.
