Skiing
For winter skiing, December to early May, the local resort of Madesimo is 90 minutes drive away, while St. Moritz in Switzerland is 2 hours.
Travel
Milan has 3 international airports, at Linate, Malpensa and Bergamo, each approximately 90 minutes by car from the apartment. Trains run into Milan and out from Milan to Como daily. Lugano airport and railway station in Switzerland are both about 45 minutes drive away. Ryanair, EasyJet and Jet2 all fly into Milan, as do BA and other major airlines. Although we would advise the use of a car, it is not essential as the area is well served by bus ferry and trains.
