It is situated on the upper floor of a baroq Palazzo (Palazzo Buffardeci) an historical palace registered as a National monument, with foundations of the XIVth century, in the very heart of Ortigia (via della Maestranza), 5 min walk from Piazza Duomo, 2 min walk from Piazza Archimede.
The apartement was completely refurbished with many original feathures designed by the landlord himself
It consists of a spacious bright living room with a large kitchen/dining area with view on the sea/roofs of Ortigia, a large double bedroom with the same stunning view, another double bedroom under the roof, without window but that looks onto the living room. Casa Dino, tastefully furnished, is equipped with air-conditioning and washing machine. Should you choose to stay at Casa Dino, you will love to enjoy a glass of Sicilian wine in the living room at the sunset, there is an incredible light!

Accessibility
Not suitable for people with mobility problems. Please note that the apartment is situated on the third floor, 2 normal stairs lead to the first 2 floors, then to access to the apartment you need to climb a quite abrupt stair (excellent for health!).
Coast/Beach
5 minute walk from the apartment you will reach the sea and a small rocky beach used by locals and tourists alike. A 10 minute walk and 15 minute pleasant ferry ride away from the apartment is a sandy beach. Further down the coast from Siracusa, within a half hour drive are beautiful sandy beaches and day resorts (Beaches of Eloro at Noto, Natural reserve of Vendicari close to Pacchino etc.).
Special interest holidays
Upon request it is possible to organize private day trips to visit the other baroq cities around Syracuse like Noto and Ragusa but also to visit the Etna and Taormina.
Distances
Closest airport: Catania Fontanarossa (58km) new motorway direct to Syracuse, it is possible to rent a car at the airport, we can also order a taxi for you upon previous request. From Palermo airport, you need about 3 hours by car to arrive at Syracuse.

Restaurants and shops are 2 mins walk from the apartment. You have big supermarkets (Carrefour, Auchan) 20 min drive.
Booking notes
To confirm any booking, we kindly ask for the payment of 30% of the whole rental cost by bank transfer only. The balance has kindly to be paid by cash upon arrival + security deposit of 30% of the whole rental cost.
