The stone-built villa features a tower incorporating coat of alms, and is approached by a country lane winding alongside a small river. The avenue bordered by cypress trees and lavender is an attractive feature of the landscaped gardens. The property has a superb view towards Todi and is totally private being some 500 metres from the tarmac road. It is approached through electrically controlled iron gates and bordered by streams and woodland. About 1km further along the lane there is a riding school with paddock and lessons can be arranged directly from the gardens of the villa.

Changeover day
The change day is Saturday departures by 10am and arrivals after 4pm. Any special arrangement must be requested.

Maid service 3 times weekly 2 hours per day. Separate towels for bathrooms and coloured towels for pool - bath robes provided, linen changed weekly, towels twice weekly. Cook and holistic massage available. |
Notes on accommodation
Children welcome - the villa has security fencing young children must be accompanied by an adult when using or near the pool. Mosquito nets provided over beds and to bedroom windows but not french doors to terraces.

Ample provision of good quality lounge chairs, li-lows, umbrellas and tables. An internal barbecue with fire at table height adjoins the dining area towards the pool, additional mobile barbecue. Pool measures 12 metres x 6 metres.
Golf
Professional golf course at Perugia 40 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays

Travel
Rome airports at Fiumicino and Ciampino are 135 kms from Todi, on the A1 auto strada followed by super strada, approx 1 hr 30 minutes to the villa.
Ancona 145 kms but road not as good. Pisa and Florence are 3 hours and 2hrs 30 mins but convenient if visiting Siena en route for Todi.
Car Hire essential as there are great activities to enjoy for Adults and children. Link to airport at Perugia with Ryanair expected October 05 only 40kms.
Distances
Nearest village Ponte Naia 2 kms bar and village shop open also Sundays and evenings till late. Todi just up the hill from Ponte Naia -- Within 40 and 30 kms are Perugia Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto, Terni and Narni the lesser known Montefalco. Bevagna (chosen for filming the sword fight in the film Romeo & Juliet and famous for its festival in June is a must for visitors. Also Montefalco --MonteCastello di Vibio, Deruts for pottery and Bettona.
Further details
Todi's popularity took a huge leap when, in 1964 it was voted by the University of Kentucky in the USA as the most peaceful and ideal place to live in in the entire world !!. At week-ends it is protected from traffic by the huge car-park and cable car to the town-centre but during the week it is quite usual to drive through the town and park the car just to visit the Post Office or to relax over a coffee in the large town square.
