Distances
Civitella del Lago, a historical medieval very traditional village lies two kilometres to the right and Montecchio another medieval village lies to kilometres to the left. These villages have butcher, groceries, post office etc. There is a bank in Montecchio. Market in Montecchio on Friday and Civitella Monday.

Famous Vissani restaurant lies 10 min. away on Lake Corbara, Trippini restaurant in Civitella del Lago. Il Corno Rosso 10 min away. Great fish restaurant I Gelsi. Orvieto 14 kilometres full of restaurants and attractions. Market Saturday morning and Thursday morning. Todi 14kms in opposite direction. 'The Umbria', great restaurant.

'It is hard to imagine a more idyllic setting for a villa. To sit on the spacious veranda watching the sun setting over distant mountains, with the sky reflected in the lake and a glass of the local Orvieto Classico in hand was an unforgettable experience. Add to the setting a well laid-out villa with child-friendly entertainments laid on (including table tennis and table football) and a spectacularly situated pool with its own fridge and bar, and there is the recipe for a wonderful holiday.

The ice-making fridge was a great asset, dishwasher design was so very advanced that it took us rather a long time to learn how to take advantage of its great capability!
We had the most fantastic time thank you, I can understand why you dont want to come back to England - who would when you have the most amazing views - it is an every changing landscape from the pool and I could lay there for days and not get bored, it was Katie and my idea of heaven Thank you.
