Mondello, commonly known as the Palermo peoples beach, famous for its elegant liberty-style villas, its white sand and its crystal-clear water. However, Mondello, about 7km from Palermo, has not always looked like this. Once upon a time, this basin, enclosed between Monte Gallo and Monte Pellegrino, was an unhealthy swamp with a small fishermens village nearby, that was built around the old tuna fishing nets site. Towards the end of the 19th century, after the land was reclaimed, elegant liberty-style bathing establishments were built that attract lots of visitors.

In Mondello many facilities - windsurf, diving, tennis, open-air cinema, open disco dancing, many restaurants with fresh made dishes, pizzas, Sicilian and international dishes, boutiques, beauty centre, supermarket, rent car, hire bike. September is a beautiful month in Sicily; The temperature is from 20° to 28° degrees, so one can still swim as well as very often in October, when the temperature is from 16° to 25° degrees (celsius). In November as in April there are normally 14°-20° degrees, in December 9°-16°, in January 8°-15°, in February 9°-16°, in March 10°-17°, in April 11°-20°, in May 14°-24°, in June 18°-28°.
Booking notes
To book 30% of the rent is required in account by bank transfer. For the remaining amount it will be paid at the check in with a caution deposit of 200 or 170.00 GBP. The caution will be given back at the check out. A 5% discount is offered for 2 weeks bookings, a 10% discount for 2 weeks bookings, a 15% discount for monthly bookings. The delivery of the house is normally between 14.00 PM and 19.30 pm. Departure time between: at 08,00 am and 09,30 am.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
This house was designed and built by my parents when I was 5 years old, and since I live here. Me and my garden's palms we have the same age! I love this place because it allows me to live surrounded by nature, near the beach but out of chaos, and only few minutes from the city.
