Residenza d'Epoca Maria Callas is a small 115 square feet apartment, ideal for those who are looking for a comfortable and peaceful accommodation at minutes walk from Florence main art sites. The blue and yellow tones and the fine taste of the antique furniture make it very charming and welcoming. Facing on the internal courtyard of the palace, it is a silent resort in the heart of a lively city like Florence. Just a step outside, the fascinating quarter of Oltrarno: a unique combination of arts, crafts and culture. Our programme of courses and events aims to make our Guests’ stay with us even more pleasant and interesting: Watercolour, Fresco painting and Cookery... at very affordable prices and open to all levels. Beginners are welcome! Our Guests can also let themselves guide along Florence alleys learning the charming and intriguing history of the Renaissance city, with our Art Walks. Our Art Walks are private and can be tailored to the Guests' preferences.

Changeover day
Check-in from Monday to Saturday - preferably between 9.30 am and 3 pm. Guests are invited to contact our Administration office to arrange their reception.

| Living Rooms: | Dining table for 4, 1 armchair. |
| Other: | On the same floor, opposite to the studio, guests may use the relax area apartment with lounge room and a well equipped and newly fitted kitchenette with hot plates, oven and fridge/freezer. This is a communal space for other guests of the Residenza. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels, linens, soaps and hairdryer are provided. We do not charge extras for the final cleaning of the apartment. Cleaning services every 4 days. Towels are changed twice a week, linens once a week. |

Notes on accommodation
Our apartment is not air-conditioned. In the summer-time fans are provided.
We can provide a highchair and a crib on request. These services do not have extra charges.

The building is serviced by a lift.
Outside
On the ground floor of the building there is a small courtyard with table and chairs for a relaxing pause on the shade.
Coast/Beach
About 80 Kms away. Most beaches are accessible both by train and buses within the day.

Step in a real florentine kitchen and allow yourselves some hours of pleasant relaxation, experiencing a different way of life.
The kind of cookery classes we wish to share with our Guests is the one linked to the cultural tradition and the region of Tuscany, recipes handed down over generations, which everybody will be able to prepare easily at home.

Travel
The use of car in central Florence is not recommended as everything is at walking distance. Parking fees per day in private garages vary according to the car size (from 25 to 30 euros).The price includes the pick up of the car at the Residence on your arrival and the delivery on check-out. Santa Maria Novella Train Station is at 10-15 minutes walk. Florence Airport PERETOLA : Bus 62 to Santa Maria Novella train station. By taxi, the fare to any address within central Florence costs 20 euros.

Museums, theatres, cinemas, restaurants are all at walking distance.

Oltrarno - Santo Spirito area is very lively, you will find a great choice of restaurants, bars and pubs. The local market in Santo Spirito square sells fresh fruit and vegetables daily. Supermarkets are at 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Drycleaners are at walking distance. A wash & dry service (within 24 hours) costs about 8 Euros per load (about 1 bag).

In order to confirm your booking please send us a 30% deposit. We will provide you with all the necessary details. We accept Visa and Mastercards payments and bank transfers. No refunds in case of cancellations done within 21 days to the arrival date.
