Villa Lucia offers 5 large double bedrooms (sleeps up to 12), 3 large reception rooms with views to the lake, lavish dining room, a luxury bathroom with jacuzzi & 3 shower rooms, well appointed fully fitted kitchen, and garden looking out across to Bellagio. Villa Lucia is part of the Lucia Estate and her neighbouring Villa Luca, a charming art-nouveu villa sleeps up to six guests with beautiful elegant gardens and roof terrace. Guests are welcome to hire the entire estate for weddings and events or for those with larger guest parties. The entire estate sleeps a maximum of 18.

Lake Como is enjoyable during both the summer period and the cold and crisp winter months. The surrounding gardens at Villa Lucia have been designed to enjoy throughout the year with a wonderful array of plants, flowers and trees. Overlooking the lake with views across to Bellagio, it offers a tranquil and peaceful haven.
Golf
Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Course is located nearby as is said to marvel the best of golf players. This fantastic 18-hole, 5442m, par 70 course is one of the most ancient golf courses in Europe, with steep inclines, sweeping fairways and spectacular views en route. Open from March to November, is certainly one to add to your list.
Villa D'Este also offers an 18-hole course and is said to be the most varied and difficult of the European par 69 courses.

Travel
Getting to Lake Como is simple. A range of airlines fly daily including British Airways, Alitalia and Easyjet, to Milan's 2 airports; Malpensa International Airport, to the northwest, is 40 miles from Como and has a bus service to the town of Como. The smaller Linate Airport to the east serves flights from Europe and within Italy and is connected to Milan by bus service.
Ferries link the major villages and towns of Lake Como, providing both a good form of public transportation.
Distances
Cadenabbia is ideally located to enjoy all the delights that Lake Como has to offer. Located on the western shores of the lake it is only 200 metres to the ferry port which serves all main villages on the lake including Como town. The famous house and gardens of Villa Carlotta is just 200 metres from the villa, and the bustling picturesque town of Menaggio is approximately 10km. Malpensa Airport is approximately 40km from Cadenabbia.

Cadenabbia is an ideal location for those that want to explore the delights that Lake Como has to offer. The stunning buildings and architecture that line the lake road serve as the perfect backdrop for a relaxing cycle or walk, enabling you to capture all the charm and enchantment of the lake, as you go. Sample the local cuisine in Cadenabbia or the neigbouring village of Tremezzo as you watch the world go by.
Take a short stroll to the beautiful Villa Carlotta in the village of Cadenabbia. The most famous villa on the lake, Villa Carlotta, has a perfect combination of luxurious interiors (beautiful stuccos, lovely ceiling frescoes and a great art collection, including an Eros and Psyche by Antonio Canova) and luxuriant exteriors (over 500 species of plants, trees and shrubs from all over the world).
Hop on the ferry for a trip to Bellagio, la perla del lago (the pearl of the lake), considered by many to be the most beautiful town in all of Europe. Its narrow cobbled streets, breathtaking views, impeccable homes and glorious villas make it a most enchanting spot.
Venturing a little further, and just a short drive away, is Menaggio. It's picturesque harbour features mostly 19th century Italian alpine style buildings, all painted in muted tones. Sit in the square and do as the Italians do and watch the girls go by! Although peaceful and relaxing, there is a lot to explore in this classically Italian town. The old and "new", the shops, restaurants, cafes, public squares and alleyways, the tree shaded lakeshore promenades bordered by flowers, and the well-kept villas form a wonderful and serene place to holiday.
If you are planning your trip in June, you may experience the oldest historic festival on the Lake, the Sagra de San Giovanni, which is held on the last weekend of June. It is a weekend long festival of folk art and old world charms. The main attraction comes after sundown when hundreds of floating lamps are cast onto the lake.
