The apartment is located on the first floor of one of Porto Maurizio's more majestic buildings overlooking the sea and coastline. It is located in one of the small streets at the historical centre of Porto Maurizio. The furnished apartment is spread over one floor and comprises: sitting room with television and sofa , and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and eating area. Two double bedrooms and bathroom also washing machine. The apartment has central heating and a large terrace where you can sunbathe or dine while taking in the spectacular views over the sea and city. Porto Maurizio is part of Imperia and the Parasio is in the center of the medieval village.

Notes on accommodation
There is no real need for a car in this village as everything is within walking distance and even the railway station is only 5 minute walk but for those with a car who want to explore surrounding areas there is ample parking in the town. Porto Maurizio is one of Liguria's more beautiful towns and offers everything from sandy beaches, good restaurants and nightlife also with plenty of activities for the young and very young.
Coast/Beach
Closest beach is la Spiaggia della Marina at 500 m. There are many other beaches along the coastline at Imperia or Arma di Taggia - 10 mins by car or the more commercial Diano Marina 25 minutes. A comprehensive description of beaches are supplied at the properties.
Golf
Golf at S. Remo Garlenda and Castellaro. Approx 18km
Ideal for walking and cycling, trekking, horse riding. Whale watching trips in the Summer. We rent mountain bikes.

Motorway Riviera dei fiori A10 Exit Imperia Ovest (West) How to reach us: On leaving the motorway turn left to Via Tommaso Littardi 200 metres and turn left into the main road. Continue for about 1,8 km. At the traffic light, turn left (before the pharmacy, Piazza Marconi) Corso Aurelio Saffi (300 metres) and than right Via Elia Benza (200 metres). You reach in Piazza del Duomo.

Distances
There are many surrounding villages within easy driving distance from Porto Maurizio. Imperia is 1km further along where you can eat lunch at one of the many port side restaurants and watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch.

Liguria is world famous for its olive oil, and for those who would be interested, we can arrange a guide around a working mill and explain the procedure of producing the oil from the tree to the bottle. You will be able to purchase the oil straight from the mill. There are also many boat trips available for example a whale watching trip of 5 hours out at sea to one of the areas where the dolphins and whales are know to gather.
