The house is a Historic Tuscan Farmhouse constructed of stone and terracotta, originally dating from 1400 when it was documented as an abbey of the 'Frate Camaldolesi'. The house has been restored with great care maintaining its original features, while adding modern comforts. The terrace and garden floor self contains a large part very private and independent of the whole historic Tuscan farmhouse including large kitchen, dining room, large living room with original stone-fireplace, 2 double bedroom and a large bathroom with shower and bath. At the same level of kitchen and dining room there is a large stone terrace ideal for breakfast and lovely "al fresco" dining. A 12 x 4m private swimming pool surrounded by garden and cypress trees with 1 hectare of pasture land, orchard and vegetable garden. Equipped with comfortable seating for relaxing and reading whilst admiring the scenery. Pool, garden and terrace exclusive use for guests.

'Bastia del Sole' is great for adults and families wanting a private house with pool in a beautiful, tranquil setting and surrounding countryside which offers lots of space to play and explore.
'Bastia del Sole' is an independent house set in a small and picturesque village in the hills of Anghiari.
Within a few minutes you can reach the most important historic towns in the area (Anghiari, Sansepolcro, etc.) with the possibility of shopping and numerous restaurants with excellent food at a good price.
The owners, Bruno and Enza living in another independent part of the house and are always available if you need any help or advice.
Outside
Private swimming pool (12m x 4m) with sunbeds and a large sun terrace which has outdoor tables, chairs & parasol (ideal for al fresco dining). Garden and seating area at the rear of the house, barbecue and further garden space with 1 hectare of pasture land with olives trees and fruits.

Special interest holidays
The owner, a well-known real estate agent, lives with his wife and a lovely dog (a golden retriever) in a completely detached part of the house. He will be pleased to organize tours and excursions and help you to discover the best places in the Tiber Valley. Moreover, he cultivates typical biological products and would be happy to satisfy his guests' needs. A little shop and a bar are 5 minutes walking along a lovely way from the farm-house.

The pool open from 16 may. Supplementary med-week clean of the apartment, when requested. Anghiari 3km has a small supermarket, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, post office, some fantastic restaurants, bars, pizzeria, police station, bank. Sansepolcro has a much wider selection of supermarkets and shops. Several very good local restaurants are located within 10 minutes drive from the house. Several local markets can be found in local towns; the best one take place in Anghiari on Wednesday morning.
