3 storey house in beautiful hillside village dating back to the 16th century. The village is 600 metres above sea level with breathtaking views of surrounding countryside. The village has bar and shop. Approx 6 km from the spa town of Bagni di Lucca which has numerous restaurants and shops, open air and indoor swimming pools and public tennis courts, 1 hour drive from Pisa airport. Approx 1 hour from the lovely beaches of the Mediterranean, 40 mins from Lucca and 1.5 hours from Florence. The ski resort of Abitone is only 40mins away. The area is ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings but within easy reach of many tourist attractions. Car parking is available in village car park. 5 min walk through cobbled streets leads to the house which is in the centre of village.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is approx 90 sq.m. with tiled floors throughout. It benefits from full central heating plus open log fire. There is an additional portable electric radiator and portable gas heater if required.

Outside is a small shared patio.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beach resort of Viareggio is approx 40 km away. It is about 1 hour away by car but can also be reached by bus or train.
The Cinque Terre is also within easy reach by car.
Skiing
The village is close to the ski resort of Abitone (approx 40 min drive) which is a very popular italian sking resort. Abitone is approx 1400 metres above sea level with the ski lifts taking you to approx 2000 metres. There are numerous runs for all abilities, ski schools and a snow board park.
Travel
Nearest airport is Pisa approx 1 hour drive away. Genoa airport approx 2.5 hour drive.
Although there is train service to Bagni di Lucca and limited bus service to village we would suggest that a car is essential.
Distances
The nearest town is Bagni di Lucca 6km away. The medieval City of Lucca is approx 20km away (40mins by car).
Further details
The nearest restaurant is about 1.5 km down hillside but Bagni di Lucca has numerous restaurants and bars.
Horse riding and quad bike excursions are also available in the local area
