Country House Nazzano is located on a hill, 250m above sea. You will enjoy a magnificent panorama of the surrounding countryside between olive yards, vineyards and woods. There is a large private terrace and garden where you can lunch or stay in relax. Barbecue and outdoor furniture.
Coast/Beach
You can reach the beaches of the Tuscany coast, Marina di Castagneto Carducci, Maremma and Versilia which is 80km.
Golf
Castelfalfi Golf Club (10km) is situated in an ancient medieval hamlet deep in the Tuscan country. It belonged through the century to the main Italian families, including Medici. Characteristics of the course - it has 18 holes and the length is 6.645 m. with a par of 73. It includes the driving range, pitching green, putting green and bunkers. The main characteristic of the course is that you can often play down hill and not on plane or slope, even if the undulations are several. You can find many water obstacles, frontally and laterally. The bunkers are not several, they are only alternative elements to the natural lines of the course. The puttings greens are different from other Italian Golf courses for their technical characteristic. Available structures, 18 holes and 73 par, driving range, putting green, pitching green, trolleys and golf carts to hire.
Special interest holidays
In this area, especially in the summer period, there are numerous cultural, musical and artistic events, like in the second week of July, in Certaldo Alto. The spectacular festival called "Mercantia" with its street artists and artisans on every corner and in San Gimignano the Opera Festival in August month. We can suggest you some itinerary of the undiscovered parts in the heart of Tuscany.

Best Place to stay in Tuscany! Ron & Erika Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Date of Stay: May 2009. My husband and I stayed 5 days at House Nazzano in May 2009 and we had a most wonderful time. We spent a lot of time on the internet before we found this property that seemed to have everything we were looking for. We have travelled all over the world and so we know how deceiving pictures can be!The description and pictures of House Nazzano are absolutely accurate; the facilities are great, clean and the location is in the country site (car a necessity) but perfectly situated for sightseeing the whole area, including Siena, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, the Chianti region etc. The best kept secret however is Certalo Alto, the nearest town - about 3km away, which has several lovely little Restaurants and not too many tourists. We would recommend this property to anyone without hesitation.
