Villa Almandorlo sits on top of a hill with 6 hectares of land. It is a haven of peace and quietness. On the grounds there are: a swimming pool (6x12 meters), our own vineyard, a large terrace in front of the house, a barbecue, a patio with a veranda and table and chairs, plenty of olive trees (from which we produce oil).

The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden on various levels, with numerous olive trees shading the front lawn. The garden wraps all around the villa and is accessible from the villa's many French doors. An outdoor furnished area with table and chairs lies right outside the kitchen and dining room, particularly suitable for outdoor dining and enjoying the peaceful country atmosphere. Large terracotta orci filled with flowers embellish the garden. Rosemary and lavender hedges add further aromatic delight. In addition, in front of the main entrance, another outdoor area is equipped with table, chairs, couches and a barbecue. Just a few steps away from the entrance lies the panoramic swimming pool, from which guests can admire the vineyards below and take in a lovely view of the countryside. A well-kept green lawn circles the private pool (6x12m), hosting numerous lounge chairs and umbrellas and inviting guests to abandon themselves to moments of complete relaxation and recreation.

My name is Patrizia and I live in Rome with my son Nicolas, I lived 2 years in New York and after ,5 years in France, were my son was born. In the attempt to keep this beautiful Villa we rent it to those wanting to taste all that the Chianti region of Tuscany has to offer: peaceful scenery, wine and food, the gentleness of the people.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
My grand parents were from Milan and they fell in love with these enchanting surroundings and this ancient house on the hill, silent and abandoned, basking in the sunshine and in memories of days gone by. Noble and bewitching in its decadence, yet still rich in the precious details of the building. They were so captivated, that it became their priority, and now mine, to preserve its identity. Thus began the dream.
